Chapter 8: A Dissonant Evening

Musa looked at the other girls and said, "I need to go to Melody. I just got promoted to serve as a teacher at the Golden Auditorium."
"That's amazing, Musa!" Bloom exclaimed. "Have fun teaching!"
Tecna pulled out the interplanetary travel device. "Alright, Musa," she said. "A portal is open for you to go to Melody."
Musa smiled. "Thanks, Tech."
The other girls waved goodbye as Musa stepped into the portal.

"Perfect," Valtor said grimly. "Now let's pay Musa a visit!"
Zarathustra walked over. "I would like to go," she offered.
"Alright, Zarathustra, you can go. Make Musa's life harder and more dissonant!"
Zarathustra laughed. "You got it, V."

Musa arrived inside the auditorium. A flock of students ran towards her, arms open.
"Musa! It's so nice to see you and have you as a teacher," a student exclaimed.
Zarathustra arrived and looked around. "This place is huge," she whispered. She spotted Riven standing next to Musa and thought, He could be the perfect person to help me wreak havoc in this place. I just have to wait for the right moment. Musa is gullible and overly trusting. I'm going to turn Riven against her, and she will be destroyed! But first, I need to disguise myself.
Zarathustra disguised herself to look like Aisha, then sat down next to a student, waiting patiently until class ended.
Musa stepped up to the podium. "Welcome, students! It is an honor to serve as your teacher. Riven will be helping me with the assignments," she said.
Riven looked at Musa and smiled.
"Ready for some vocal warm up exercises?"
The students cheered.
Musa summoned a piano and invited Riven to sit down and play.

After class, Aisha (really Zarathustra) walked over to Riven and started talking to him.
Musa turned around. "Aisha! I didn't see you out there," she said, surprised.
Zarathustra cleared her throat. "I was sitting in the back of the room," she replied, talking with a trashy southern accent.
One of the students walked toward her and cautioned her, saying, "That's not really Aisha. It's Zarathustra. I know it's her. I attended a therapy session with her a few years back. She's changed a lot."
Zarathustra shed her disguise. "You got that right," she taunted.
"Zarathustra! What are you doing here?" Musa asked.
The students gathered behind Musa.
"Malorix, unite!" they shouted. Then they transformed into different variants of Enchantix.
Musa shouted, "Enchantix!"

"Sound Wave Attack!" Musa sent sound waves barreling toward Zarathustra. She dodged the blast and shot a purple beam of light at her.
"I got you, Musa," a student said. "Music Wall!" She put up an 8-bit styled barrier to block the blow.
"Thanks," Musa replied.
While the Malorix held the shield, Zarathustra set out to perform her nefarious plan. She walked towards Riven and hypnotized him. Riven trembled under the magic spell.
"Riven? Are you alright?"
Zarathustra smirked. "He's just fine, Musa. Just a little drained."
"Yeah right. Song of Enchantix!" Musa started to sing, unleashing powerful positive energy into the air and signaling to the other girls that she needed help.

Aisha saw the signal. "Girls, Musa needs us," she said urgently. "Bloom, Stella, and I will go. Tecna, you monitor the situation from here. We will be right back."
Tecna gave a thumbs up.
Bloom shouted, "Enchantix!"

Stella and Aisha shouted, "Pyrix!"

"Solaria!" Stella used the ring of Solaria to teleport to Melody.
"Good luck, girls!" Electra called.
"Be careful," Flora added.

"Musa, we're here!" Bloom called.
"Girls! I'm so glad you're here," Musa said, relieved. "Zarathustra is at it again."
"We know. We saw the signal you sent and couldn't not come over to help you out," Aisha added. "Take my hand."
Musa and Aisha held hands.
"Convergence! Voice of the Oceans!" A blast of sound waves and water shot Zarathustra backwards.
Zarathustra got up. Those Pyrix girls are so strong. They defeated me after the first spell! she thought. Then she vanished.
"The battle isn't over yet. I'm here too," Riven said, striking Musa in the back.
"Musa! Are you alright?" Aisha asked.
"Yeah, just a little shocked," Musa replied.
"Zarathustra hypnotized him. We need to stop him before it's too late!"
