Chapter 11: Energy Balanced

Valtor was furious. He would never allow Electra to live in Energy City with all energy in balance. He was determined to disrupt the balanced flow of energy throughout the city. He created a black hole to teleport himself there.
"Soon, all the magic of Energy City will be mine, and the girls can do nothing to stop it!" he laughed.

"We must do everything we can to protect this city," Flora said. "Valtor could come here any minute."
"But what could he possibly want from here?" Bloom asked.
Electra looked around and closed her eyes. A vision appeared. "Valtor wants the energy from the turquoise energy orb," she explained. "He wants to disrupt the balanced flow of life force throughout Energy City." With her eyes still closed, she saw another vision. "If Valtor absorbs the energy from the orb, then he will become too powerful. Not even the Pyrix power will stop him." She opened her eyes.
The other girls gasped.
"That's not gonna happen!" Aisha said. "We will protect Energy City, together."
"That's right," Flora replied, placing her hand on Electra's shoulder. "You can count on us!"
Suddenly, a black hole appeared. Valtor stepped out and looked around.
"This place is bursting with energy," he commented. He reached out his hand to the turquoise energy sphere, but he was soon blocked by Electra, who transformed into Enchantix.
The other girls also transformed: Bloom, Flora and Tecna into Enchantix...

...and Stella, Musa, Roxy, and Aisha transformed into Pyrix.

"Don't touch that magic sphere!" Electra ordered. "Energy Resonance!" She sent turquoise energy in the form of sound waves, directing them down to the water. The resulting energy made Valtor drown in the tide. After laying there, he got up, unscathed by the attack.
"You think you're immune to the Enchantix power?" Musa asked. "Try this on for size! Guitar Blast!" She summoned a purple guitar and started playing it. Purple sound waves almost took Valtor's hearing away, but he used a spell to restore his hearing.
"Dragon Fury! Yah!!!" Bloom sent a beam of fire at Valtor, burning the end of his cloak.
"It's too late, girls! The magic of Energy City is now mine," he taunted, holding the turquoise energy in his hand. Then, he left.

Bloom, Stella, Flora, Musa, Roxy, Tecna and Aisha returned to normal.
Electra looked at the magical energy sphere, completely drained of all light. She suddenly felt the ground shaking beneath her feet as an earthquake occurred. She turned and saw the girls losing balance.
"Watch out, girls!" she called. "Shield of Life!" A pale turquoise fluid barrier surrounded the seven girls.
"This earthquake is a result of what Valtor did," Flora remarked. "I hope Electra can restore the balance of energy."
Electra redirected the shield into a safe place. "Stay here. I got this." She then turned her attention to the sphere and focused all her energy. "Maximum Surge!" Her whole body glowed with a fierce turquoise aura. She shot energy waves at the sphere, trying to relight it.
"Ugh..." she groaned. "I feel...so...tired." She lay on the floor, completely lifeless.
Stella ran to where Electra was, ensuring that she was okay. "Did she do it?" she asked.
"No," Tecna replied. "She used up all her magic energy. The energy sphere isn't glowing yet."
"I hope she wakes up soon."
Suddenly, turquoise flames arose from Electra's heart. She rose up anew, complete with Pyrix powers.

The seven girls gasped in astonishment.
"You did it! Electra, you have the power of Pyrix! The energy sphere may not be glowing, but you did your best and stopped Valtor," Tecna said joyfully.
"I know how to restore the balance in Energy City," Electra replied. "And I'm going to do it now. Radiant Energy! Eeeeeeeeeeyaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh!!!" A turquoise dragon appeared. It circled the energy sphere, giving back its glow. The entire city was restored. The girls cheered as she returned to normal.
"Let's not celebrate yet," Bloom cautioned. "Valtor still has the energy he stole from here."
"Yes," Tecna added. "And I am afraid that one of our worlds will be next to fall."

"You got that right, Tecna," Valtor sneered. "Tecna is very strategic. Ever since she started following her instincts, she's been hard to beat. I have to create something that will block her from trusting her intuition. Next stop, Zenith." He laughed.
