Chapter 17: Strength in Weakness

Bloom, still reeling from what happened on Lymphea, sat near the Vortex of Flames.
"I have to help the girls," she said to herself. "But how? I don't have Pyrix yet! Does that mean I...I'll never get it?"
Lori walked towards Bloom. "You ok?" she asked. "Why are you sad?"
"I can't help the girls if I don't have the Pyrix power. I feel weak."
"Maybe you should consult Maya. She helped you earn Enchantix before, right?"
"Yeah. You're right!"
"Want me to come with you?"
"Sure."
"Scepter of Domino!" Lori used the scepter to teleport to Pyros.

Musa looked at Flora, still standing like a statue. She was still reeling from the defeat she and the girls faced at the hands of Valtor.
Electra paced the campus, hands balled into fists. "Let's not stand here and do nothing," she said. "We have to find a way to break Flora out of the spell Valtor cast."
"I have an idea," Tecna spoke up. "As Pyrix fairies, we have elemental fairy dust. Girls, let's transform."
Stella, Musa, Roxy, Electra, Tecna, and Aisha all transformed into Pyrix.

"Okay, Tecna," Roxy said. "What next?"
"Everyone form a circle."
The seven girls circled around Flora.
"Pyrix convergence! Elemental Union!" A rainbow of glitter showered on the petrified statue.
"Get back!" Aisha called. A green aura surrounded Flora, and the nature dragon appeared.
"What happened?" Flora asked.
"You were petrified by Valtor," Aisha explained. "But what matters is that you're alright, and you have the Pyrix power!"
"Now it's time to pay Valtor a visit," Musa said with determination.
"Wait. Where's Bloom?"
Electra closed her eyes. "I see her," she replied. "Bloom is on Pyros."
Stella used the ring of Solaria to teleport to Pyros.

Maya was doing Bloom's reading, and the results were shocking.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, Bloom, but your confidence is extremely low," she said solemnly. "That is why you feel weak."
"What can I do to regain my confidence?" Bloom asked. "I need to acquire Pyrix so I can help the girls get rid of Valtor."
"Sit down. I will guide you through this visualization exercise."
Bloom sat down and closed her eyes.
"Now, visualize yourself where you want to be."
"I see it!"
"Then, visualize where you are now. What's the difference?"
"I don't feel as confident in myself now."
"Confidence is a thing that comes from deep inside your heart. You have to look within to find it."
"So what do I need to do to regain that confidence?"
As Bloom asked that question, the other seven girls arrived.
"Just look inside yourself," Stella replied.
"Yea have so much confidence in you, you just have to find it," Aisha chimed in.
"We believe in you," Flora said.
Bloom's body started glowing. "I feel so good!" she said. "Now I know I can achieve my goal of acquiring Pyrix!"
"There is strength in weakness," Maya explained. "Insecurity can paralyze you, but when you look inside yourself, you can break the thoughts of doubt and rise above them."
Orange flames wrapped around Bloom. The great dragon circled around her, revealing her new Pyrix form.

"I did it!" Bloom exclaimed. "I can't believe I acquired Pyrix! But... how?"
"You chose to overcome the doubts that cloud your mind and make the decision to believe you can do anything, and that set your Pyrix free," Maya replied.
Lori walked towards Bloom. "We have to go," she said.
Bloom nodded in understanding. She motioned to the other girls to come with her, and Stella used the ring of Solaria to teleport to Domino.
