At Cloud Tower, Zarathustra waited for Valtor to arrive from Energy City. When he came back, she asked, "How'd it go?"
"It was a mixed bag," Valtor replied. "I stole the magic from Energy City, Electra's home planet, but she managed to earn the Pyrix power and restored the balance of energy. Hopefully Zenith will be much easier to conquer."
"I have a good feeling about this."
"Tecna is a formidable opponent. She just started following her instincts last year. But you and I both know that she's not entirely intuitive. She still uses logic. Everyone has some intuitive block. I want to make a special trap for Tecna that will keep her from trusting her instincts. And the only way to do that is to attack Zenith."
"I've heard that Tecna is a math expert."
"Then I'll have to come up with some extremely hard questions for her to answer. The citizens of Zenith know how to rule out the use of intuition when answering math problems. So I'll just have to steal some difficult math problems and put them into a digital test for Tecna to take."
"Brilliant!!! She'll never know what hit her!"
"Wish me luck." Then, Valtor teleported to Zenith.

"Ah, Zenith," Tecna sighed. "It's good to be home."
Roxy looked around. "Whoa. This place is full of tech stuff."
Tecna laughed. "You will get used to it. The people of Zenith are very productive and logical. If a single bit of following your instincts is shown, people here dislike it. They may be a little cold, but they open up to you eventually."
Electra scanned the environment with her new Pyrix vision. "I see that the people of Zenith are super into math and science," she observed.
"Yes they are. Oh, look! I just got a little test worksheet," Tecna quickly changed the subject and sat down, opening her laptop. The worksheet uploaded to the computer. "I need some time to concentrate. Wish me luck!"
"Good luck, Tecna!" called Aisha.

Valtor smiled sneakily. "Little does Tecna know that these math equations are so hard, she won't even figure them out," he muttered.

Tecna began the math questions. She zipped through the first six questions. Then, she landed on an extremely difficult algebra question. She closed her eyes, and a battle began between her head and her gut, as if both were talking to her.
"Trust your gut, Tecna," her gut told her calmly. "Don't overthink it. You're a math expert. Just trust your first instinct; it'll tell you which choice to pick."
Tecna relaxed a bit, but her head started talking loudly.
"Don't listen to that gibberish," the voice in her head said. "Use your head! Think logically. If you work through the problem, you'll come to the right answer. Just be rational."
Tecna tensed up. She placed her hands by the sides of her head, trying to block out the chatter between her head and her gut.
Electra walked up to where Tecna was sitting and put her hand on her shoulder.
"You okay?" she asked.
Tecna straightened up. "Oh! Hi, Electra," she replied. "No, I'm not okay. I'm struggling."
"With what?"
"With this test. It feels like I'm at war within. My head is telling me that I should think rationally and come to a solution to this math equation, but my gut says I shouldn't overthink it, that I should trust my instincts. I know the answer, but it's hard for me to trust this feeling I have inside. It's almost like... my intuition is blocked."
"Blocked? Who could've done this?"
Valtor descended from the sky.
"Time is up, little fairy," he taunted.
"Valtor!" Aisha snapped.
At the mention of that name, the fairies of Zenith stood their ground.
"It doesn't take logic to figure out who did this," Electra said.
"Girls, let's transform!" Stella ordered. "Pyrix!"

 "Pyrix!"

Bloom, Flora and Tecna transformed into Enchantix.
"Phase Changer!" Electra charged up her turquoise fluid and changed its state of matter into a turquoise gas, sending it at Valtor. He got knocked out by the gas.
"That was too easy," Flora commented. "Now let's send him back to Cloud Tower. Green Luxuriant Ivy!" Vines wrapped around Valtor as he lay there, completely unconscious.
"Moonlight Vortex!" Stella sent Valtor away with a burst of lunar energy.
"And don't come back!" Aisha called.
Tecna sighed as she and the others returned to normal.
"Now let's get back to this test," she said with determination.
The fairies of Zenith created a digital shield.
"Wait, Tecna," Aisha said. "I feel like you should attend a meditation class with Electra. It'll help you unwind and focus. Then, you'll have enough energy to finish your test."
"Good idea!" Tecna replied.
