Will's POV:

Soft sunlight filtered through the window, hitting my pillow. Revealed by the sun, dust mites idly drifted towards the ground. Faint shadows of trees waved across the wall. Birds soared through the sky, creating patterns with the telephone lines. The muted voices of lawn mowers and dogs flowed through the window. The ceiling fan spun while a second window fan hummed with cool air streaming from it, offering only a few seconds of relief.

Laptops blinked and whirred while notifications flashed across the screen of my phone, trying to get my attention. Wires ran around the floor and disappeared into nooks and crannies. The light grey-ish blue carpet folded and creased along the edges. A glass of water long gone sat on the desk, the ice inside slowly melting. Everything sat in stunned stillness, with the smallest movement catching your eye.

Sam bathed in the lazy sun while curled on my pillow, creating soft folds. The blankets were twisted into waves that cascaded off our simple bed and onto the floor. My legs tangled through Jordan's. His tattooed arm was thrown over my body, pulling me into his body. My arm cushioned my head and hung with my hand dangling off the bed and over the floor. My eyes slid shut. My chest rose and fell in sync with his, both of us breathing on the same count.
