BUT NOTHIN' EVER STOPS YOU LEAVING

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ♡︎♡︎♡︎
THERE IS THIS fine line between missing someone and being curious what someone is up to, and sometimes, one is usually the reason why the other starts to grow one day. Every moment I am away from my responsibilities, from my clients, and from the life I was thrown into, I could not help but think of the demon that came to visit me days ago.

Akaza has been on my mind lately. Or maybe not just lately. His figure appears in my mind at the most random times, catching me off guard and ultimately disrupting my smooth flow, and I am thankful that no one has yet to notice my clumsy little mistakes. My curiosity for his whereabouts cannot be helped, he was, after all, one of the very few men that has not lusted over me.

For some reason, I feel less threatened and scared when I'm around him than with my clients, or basically the bastards that do nothing but salivate over professional entertainers and courtesans. He was more modest than most of the men I've met, which is surprising given that he is a demon.

That is why I, for a multitude of unknown reasons, somewhat want to meet him again. Akaza is quite a unique person — a demon that refuses to eat women, is decent, and even took the time out of his day to visit me before.

Even though the chances of Akaza suddenly appearing on my balcony was very low, I still sat on the floor cushion, waiting until drowsiness would hit me. It takes a lot for me to feel tired or sleepy, so waiting for him until past midnight would be something easy for me.

If I could recount the events these past few days, all I remember was my busy schedule, preventing me from having time for myself. My two kamuro were just as busy as I was, going in and out of the house, running errands for me, and I'd sometimes give each some candy, a small reward for some of the tasks they needed to do. My girls worked hard, and I'm happy they got to sleep early today.
