CHAPTER 07
❝ I COULD LIE, SAY I LIKE IT LIKE THAT, LIKE IT LIKE THAT ❞
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ♡︎♡︎♡︎ FEELING THE EVENING breeze blow against my face as Akaza carries me while he jumps from rooftop to rooftop was not something I expected to experience out of the blue. It didn't take a lot for him to convince me to come with him somewhere, however, he did refuse to state how will we get to our destination. I was expecting to walk, or perhaps to run since both of our times were limited, but it never crossed my mind that he intended to carry me until we get there.
But alas, we have already arrived. Akaza gently set me down, letting me stand on my own yet still keeping his hold on my waist. I gave him a small smile before letting him guide me to wherever we were. The place he brought me to was quite dark, no light outside whatsoever, but with the help of the moonlight, I could make out a pathway that was surrounded by trees.
With one of his hands on my waist and the other taking my hand, we began to walk together. Akaza was taller than me, I'm guessing by a few inches, he was barefoot so it was easy for me to tell. Normally, he'd give off the smell of blood, I've gotten used to the metallic smell that it caught me off guard when I smelled something sweet from him. It seems he prepared a lot of things tonight, even dolling himself up.
"Am I that attractive that you keep staring at me while walking?" His little joke made me shake my head, though I could feel a blush creeping to my cheeks already. I felt his hold on me tighten when I was going to step away from him, subtly pulling me closer.
"And what if I told you that you are?" I shot back at him, watching his expression to change from mildly smug to a slightly flustered one. "You think I'm attractive?" He asked.
I giggled and looked away. "Maybe."
Finally, after several minutes of walking and small talks, we finally arrived to wherever Akaza took me.
