Appreciate everything as if it was your first time, as if you had seen the whole world in black and white your whole life.
As if it was the first time your eyes caught sight of the sky painted red orange and pink.
As if it was your first time seeing how green the trees are, how they sway in the wind, how the earth beneath your feet feels cold and damp and just so earthy.
As if it was your first time feeling the air from a breeze caress your face gently, blow your hair behind your ears.
Look and see, the sky is as blue as blue can be, and be reminded of all of the wondrous creations that exist beyond it.
As if it was the first time a laugh escaped from your mouth.
As if it was your first time feeling the water surround you.
Cold, cool, it laps against your body.
As if you were taking your first breath, from the top of your head to your toes it fills you.
As if it was the first time seeing yourself, your observant beautiful self.
As if it was the first time hearing your name.
As if it was your first time touching another human, let the feelings soak in like a sponge in a tub.
Let the warmth consume your fingers.
As if it was your first time hearing a melody, let the music fill your soul and heart.
As if it was your first time being able to walk, being able to run, being able to dance.
Let your feet fly along as they please, let your hands move through the air around you.
Feel your feelings.
Feel your emotions.
Appreciate your existence.
Touch, hear, taste, smell, see.
Appreciate your every sense.
Feeling are just fleeting on the surface,
but emotions are very deep, primal, they linger.
