Do you ever just suddenly remember, you're alive?
it all hits me at once.
That one song plays and suddenly I remember I have hands.
Hands that can touch and feel.
In that moment I feel like I was just born.
My eyes widen and look towards the sky, and I really feel everything.
I feel my heart beat.
I feel joy, sadness, euphoria, curiosity.
I say to myself "I am fucking alive".
Sometimes I forget.
I get so wrapped up in my worldly problems.
I forget that it is simply amazing that i can breathe.
I can feel the music in my bones.
I want to scream it to the world,
remember you're alive.
Just being is something we take for granted.
To be able to kiss, to love.
We take so much for granted.
I could never get enough.
And with this, I know we are all meant for something greater.
There is no way that we die and go nowhere.
But it scares me that I don't know what happens next.
