I reach my hands so high, oh, but then I cry.
They're too far to touch, so I fall into starlight.
The constellations that are in your mind,
see I try and try.
I yearn to understand your complexities; the galaxies in your eyes.
I can't seem to comprehend, how I could ever look at the sky again.
I reach up to touch your skin but you turn into starlight.
I look to the moon and think, of escaping to a far off land.
But, it would be much easier if I could just hold your hand.
The sunlight blinds me now, so the night is where I hide.
A blanket of a cosmic love is where I sleep tonight.
