Chapter 4

It happened. A flash of something went past his eyes. One of the rats scraped his long claw across the top of his head. Rusty looked to see what was going on around him, he heard someone screaming. It was Scott! Rusty would recognize that voice anywhere.

"Scott!"He screamed once he heard that familiar voice. Scott then killed the last of the rats, with the help of someone. A girl. Louise. Louise ran to her husband and helped him up as Scott stabbed the last few of the rats one last time to make sure they were dead.

"You found her,"Rusty stated as he hugged his wife,"Where was she?"

"She was found just wandering around,"Scott stated as he dug around the carcasses, looking for the knife he had lost once it had been stabbed into a rat. He quickly found it and wiped his bloody hands on his pant leg.

"Thank you so much for finding me,"Louise stated as she embraced her husband further,"But there's no way out."

"Why don't we just go out the way we came in?"Scott asked as they all sat down on the floor, it was not the most comfortable place to sit, but they had been running around for two hours.

"We can't,"Louise stated,"All the entrances are sealed." Louise was a beautiful lady with fair skin and blond hair that was cut in a pixie style haircut, she unlike Scott and Rusty, was not magical.

"How do you know?"Rusty asked his lovely wife as he ran a hand through his hair. His hair had matted itself together. That's strange he thought to himself, his hair almost never stuck together like this, Must just be the stress Rusty decided.

"They told me,"Louise explained, referring to the people who had kidnapped her as they, for she did not know their actual names.

"Who?"Rusty and Scott demanded at the exact same time.

"I don't know their names!"Louise exclaimed,"All I remember is there was four of them, two adults, a kid that seemed about Ricky's age and a baby, they seemed to have this evil look into their eyes."

"The Loffmors!"Rusty and Scott both exclaimed as they turned to each other. They both had a massive look of surprise in them.

"Would you guys stop that?"Louise asked, her voice seemed to express her anger easily, she hated when Scott and Rusty talked at the same time.

"Fine,"Rusty and Scott stated together one last time on accident.

"Okay that was the last time,"Rusty told his wife after she had crossed her arms.

"How do we get out?"Scott asked as they all stood up, he then pulled out his map and lighter.

"There might be a way out from Rat Opening,"Louise suggested, Rusty and Scott both shuddered in fear at the mere mention of rats,"What?"She asked when she saw them shaking in fear.

"It's just, why does it always have to be rats?"Rusty asked.

"I second that,"Scott agreed,"But there might be a way out through the opening, I'd say it's worth a try."

"Then it's settled, anyone know where we are?"Louise stated, making their decision final. Rusty gulped, thinking of all the disgusting rats there must be at rat opening for it to be called rat opening, he wondered if they would all be the size of the ones they had just ran paths with.

"Looks like, if we keep following this path we should run straight into it,"Scott stated,"Lilac had told me that Rat opening is one of the few places to actually have furniture, she said that she and her friend, Tony, used to use it as their hideout."
