"You saved him!"Louise exclaimed as she sat on a bench some children must've left behind, she quickly got up from the bench and ran towards them,"Is he?" Came the question they were both wondering. Rusty's skull had been cracked open, blood still poured through it. Really he could be either way.

"I don't know, you got the bags right?"He asked, hoping she had.

"Yes,"Louise stated as Scott laid Rusty's possible corpse on the hard wooden bench. His face had obviously became disfigured, Scott couldn't tell if it had all been from the assortment of farm animals or if he had hit his head.

"Good, my bags the black backpack, inside there should be a headset and a first aid kit, bring me both,"Scott commanded as he knelt over Rusty he put his ear to where his friend's heart would be and listened closely for even the slightest beat. Luckily he felt his heart beating Good, at least he's not dead Scott mentally declared to himself. Louise then brought the things he asked for to him. "Thanks,"Scott stated as he gave her a small smile of reassurance,"His heart is still beating." Louise returned a small smile, and stood beside where her husband laid as she chewed on her fingernails in stress. She sweated lightly, as Scott pulled the gauze and medical tape out of the first aid kit, he then proceeded to bandage Rusty's head properly, to hopefully slow the bleeding at least a little till he got help, he then brushed his hands together in satisfaction at his mediocre job of treating his friend. Scott then put on his headset, and started talking into it, using the code word for if one of the members was ever injured.

"Confused Scottish Fold,"He stated into the mic, hoping someone was listening,"Bobcat ocean Main coon, confused scottish fold! Confused Scottish Fold!! CONFUSED SCOTTISH FOLD!" Louise just stared at Scott in confusion. Scott made a small motion to her saying that he would explain it later on,"CONFUSE. SCOTTISH. FOLD." He screamed again, Louise really started to look forward to hearing what all of this meant,"CONFUSED SCOTTISH FOLD."

"This is American Shorthaired, what seems to be the problem?"Morris' familiar voice came through the headset.

"Thank god, you have no idea how grateful I am to hear your voice right now,"Scott stated, back into regular english, the guild only ever used the codes when they first try to communicate, that way if someone else picked up who wasn't in the guild, they wouldn't be able to hear what is going on.

"So Rusty's hurt?"Morris asked as he cooked food for his daughter, who was currently at home.

"Yeah, badly,"Scott responded.

"Have you talked to Christopher?"Morris asked.

"No I made an open call, you were the only one who picked up,"Scott stated.

"Okay, I'll get a hold of Christopher and have him call you,"Morris stated,"You have your phone right."

"No the assortment of farm animals ate it,"Scott informed, knowing that he must sound insane, talking about assortment of farm animals eating his cell phone.

"But you hate farm animals! How the heck did one of them get your phone?"Morris stated,"Where are you anyways, a petting zoo?"

"No the sewers, and they are not ordinary farm animals they're demonic,"Scott tried to explain, Louise often nervously switched her glance from Scott and Rusty.

"Dad,"Scott heard, at first he assumed it was coming from the phone and was probably one of Morris' kids, but when he had finished talking on the phone the little voice spoke again,"Dad,"It said. This time Scott turned and saw his daughter.

"Lilac?"He asked as she ran to him,"What are you doing here?"

"I went looking for you,"She said as she hugged her father, she was already almost as tall as him,"You didn't tell me where you went and I got scared."

"It's fine Lilac, but where's your brother?"Scott said as he realized how the house would look if he came back and Samuel had been left alone in the house all by himself. Wait did he just say IF?

"He's here as well,"Lilac stated as her seven year old brother ran out and leapt into his father's arms.

"Where's their mom?"Louise asked from where she stood. Scott then shot her a look, making everything clear,"Oh I'm sorry,"She said apologizing from the bottom of her heart.

"It's okay you didn't know,"Scott stated as he held his kids.

Three ten year olds and a tired father then walked into the opening.

"Who are you?"The father as he entered the opening his two boys and one girl following him closely behind acting like a tail on a cat.

"I'm Scott,"Scott stated,"This is my daughter Lilac, and my son Samuel." Scott then motioned to Louise to introduce herself.

"And I'm Louise,"Louise stated she then motioned to Rusty's body,"And that is my husband Rusty, you guys don't happen to be doctors?"

"I'm George,"The man said, he looked like your average father, short balding hair, average height, and average weight,"This is my daughter Gloria, and my two sons Gregory and Geoffrey."

"You didn't answer my question,"Louise stated in a bossy like tone.

"Louise, give them some time, they just got here,"Scott whispered into her ear,"Especially don't use that tone."

"Since when are you the boss of me?"Louise exclaimed, Why the hell is she acting this way?Scott thought interrogating his subconscious.

"Calm down,"He tried to grab a hold of her, to shake her, but she pushed him away.

"You're telling me to calm down?"Louise stated putting a hand to her chest, she was using big abstract hand gestures,"You've been nothing but bossy the entire time we've been here!" It was hard for Scott not to take that statement as a personal attack, so he obviously did.

"Well you're the one who's just so damn stubborn, you think of no one but yourself!"Scott fired back. Greg and his children watched back in forth like they were watching a tennis match.

"Maybe I should just leave if I'm not appreciated here!"Louise huffed at Scott as she started walking towards a different entrance.

"Fine! But if you ever need anything don't come crying to me,"Scott then turned his back to Louise as she started walking towards the entrance way.

Then something started to happen, big sheets of metal started to clamp down upon all the entrance or exits, depending on how you look at them. First one slid from one of the sides of the roof, blocking any hope of getting out that way. Next came the entrance they came from, a sheet of metal came down from the top of the roof and went straight down to who knows how far. There was only one other entrance. The one Louise was going out of.

"Louise!"Scott shouted trying desperately to warn her, but she was too absorbed in her own stubbornness to notice.

Then SLAM! The metal came down right as she got to the entrance and was half way out of it. The big heavy sheet of metal came down right upon her head, splitting her body in half, blood spurted out everywhere, it sprayed Scott more than anyone else, as he had just went up to where she had died, right when she had died he had been no more then six feet away, allowing him to watch the horror of his friend's wife be split in two, he put a hand to his mouth as his jaw dropped open. How on earth was he going to explain this to Rusty, oh yeah your wife just decided to walk out but didn't walk fast enough so she, oh you know, just casually got split in half? Scott knew Rusty wasn't going to believe that, well not believe, because that was the truth and her corpse was evidence, but he was certainly not going to like Scott talking about Louise that way, no matter how much he knew he hated her. Scott then realized something, Lilac and Samuel just watched someone die, yet there they were acting as if nothing was wrong. He found himself unable to move. He couldn't think of anything else but the way she died, it fascinated him, she was only standing there, then bam! Dead.

"Dad,"He heard Lilac call, he then wiped the blood from the splattering off of his face.

"Yeah?"Scott asked as he turned to his daughter.

"Are we all going to die?"She asked, he then pulled her into a loving embrace, as she buried her face into his chest, it had been a long time since Lilac had actually wanted him to hug her.

"No, or at least I hope not."
