"You look lonely~"

Jack slowly opened his eyes before sitting up and groaning. Sleeping on the ground was really hard on his head. He raised up his hands and softly rubbed atop his hair only to pause and look around.

Something didn't feel right. He raised up his head and looked around seeing he was the only one at the campsite. He looked towards the cave and frowned seeing the wooden door off to the side revealing it to be empty.

"You look lonely~" Jack gasped and quickly turned his head towards the side and blushed seeing (y/n)'s face mere inches away from his.

"(y/n)? Where is everyone?" She didn't speak but shifted her gaze down before slowly looking back up into his eyes as she slowly crawled her body closer towards his.

"You look lonely, I can fix that~" His blush worsened as a large lump slid down his throat before asking the question that he felt was right but dreaded to ask.

"H-How?...aren't I...disgusting to you?" She smiled and tilted her head towards the side in confusion before slowly crawling onto his lap causing him to gasp and raise up his hands into the air.

"You're not disgusting." She smiled and softly placed her hands on his face causing him to sigh and lean into her touch. "You're beautiful." He looked up and gave her a happy smile as his eyes started to water.

"Are you sure?" He managed to ask with a whisper causing her to smile and slowly dragged her right hand down from his face to the collar of his shirt.

"You look lonely Jack...let me fix that~" He blushed and softly pressed his hand onto her back while the other held her in place on his lap. He softly pressed his lips to her chest before looking up into her misty dark brown eyes.

"Ok." She smiled and slowly started to lean in causing him to slowly close his eyes and do the same-

"WAKE UP!"

Shrek yelled as he smacked the male in the forehead causing him to sit up and scream before gripping his head in pain.

"ASSHOLE! WHY DO YOU KEEP-" He turned his head towards the side only to pause seeing (y/n) sitting next to him, holding a large leaf that she used for a plate towards him. He gulped and looked down and whispered a thank you as he reached his hands out towards it, softly grazing her hands with his fingertips sending shivers down his spine.

He soon faced forward and looked up seeing Shrek swallowing the last of his food before smirking and tossing the leaf into the fire. Jack glared and flipped him off before eating his food.

Once the group had finished their breakfast, they all got up with Shrek destroying the fire and walking through the woods. No one spoke a word and walked together in peaceful silence.

Well except Jack who walked next to the female nervously. He felt disgusted with himself that he had a dream like that, it would be troublesome if she ever found out...hopefully, she wouldn't.

"What's on your mind?" Jack tensed up before staring at the female who looked at him with a soft smile.

"I-Uh...I'm just thinking about this dream I had."

"Oh! Was it a good dream?" He gulped as the dream crossed his mind causing him to nod vigorously and rub the back of his neck.

"Uh, y-yea! It was."

"Good! I'm glad." She smiled again before looking forward causing him to sigh and look off towards the side not noticing her stepping closer to him. Soon the silence was interrupted by Shrek burping very loudly causing Donkey to wince in disgust.
