Finding You Again

Jack sighed as he laid back down on his bed. He didn't want to hear Donkey and Shrek argue at all. He didn't want to hear anything. He just wanted to curl into a ball and stay under his covers forever. He was keeping the image of the female engraved in his mind.

Why couldn't it have been him she married? He couldn't shake the image of the female's face from his mind. All emotion was drained once she was introduced to that guy.

That knight.

Cocky-looking bastard. He should have socked him square in his jaw for bringing up offspring. He just met her! Yeah, he just met her. He wasn't the one who rescued her from the tower; he was! He wasn't the one who traveled with her and spent all day hanging out with her; he did! He didn't play with her, held her hand, brushed her hair back, and kissed her soft skin.

It.Was.Him

He couldn't! He wouldn't allow her to get married to him. That guy was a joke! Jack scoffed and quickly got out of bed and slipped his shoes on before leaving the bedroom door. He walked through the front room towards the door and threw it open before walking down the path toward Duloc.

"Brother!" Shrek called from afar, but Jack refused to stop and look over. Shrek frowned, jogged over to the fast-walking male, and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Jack! Where are you going?!" The male pushed his arm off and glared.

"I'm going back to Duloc Shrek! I can't allow (y/n) to marry that joke of a guy!" He soon stopped and faced his brother with a sad but determined stare. "I rescued her from that tower, NOT HIM! I spent all day hanging out with her, not him! I need to go over there and tell her what I should have told her a while ago."

"And what are you going to tell her?" The older male spoke with a smirk as he raised his eyebrows and placed his hands on his hips.

"I...I'm going to..." The male glared and tightened his fists before looking up with tears streaming. "I'M GONNA TELL HER I LOVE HER! I will tell her I can't spend another moment without her. I need her both mentally and physically." He looked down at his shaking hands before smacking his lips. "I can't live without her, Shrek; I just can't."

The male watched his younger brother with questionable eyes for a few seconds before smiling and patting his shoulder.

"Well, now, why didn't you say so?" Jack gasped and looked up, surprised, before squinting his eyes at him.

"And...you're not mad? You're not going to stop me?" The male chuckled and shook his head.

"Let's get on this dragon and rescue our princesses."

"Dragon?" Jack questioned before gasping in amazement as the Dragon they defeated before came flying over with a smile, and riding on top was none other than Donkey. Jack laughed loudly and bumped his brother's shoulder before quickly climbing the chain with Shrek behind. The three men cheered loudly as they soared through the sky with one thing on their minds.

We Need To Stop This Wedding!

(y/n) walked beside her sister slowly with a bouquet of lavenders in her hands. She refused to look at them and kept her head held high. Fiona shifted her gaze towards her before looking ahead at the two males that awaited before them. Farquaad smiled, grabbed Fiona's hand softly, and pulled her in front of him while Maxem gripped the female's wrist and yanked her in front of him with a large smile plastered on his lips.

The female exhaled from her nose angrily before looking out of the windows, watching as the sun started to set over the horizon. She looked towards Fiona, who equally looked back. Soon, a hand was placed on (y/n)'s face, and she violently turned toward the knight she was supposed to be facing.
