Are We Flirting?

(y/n) smiled as she walked alongside the male in silence. She cleared her throat and tried to focus on the grass path in front of her but he just made it too hard.

The way his chest rise and fell, his pecks softly pressing against his shirt. She mentally scolded herself and turned her gaze towards the front before quietly clearing her throat.

"S-So...how long do you think they're gonna be?" Jack looked down at her before letting out a soft chuckle.

"Knowing Shrek, they'll probably be there for a while." She giggled causing him to blush and look towards the side with a smile. "Hey uhm, I have a question to ask you." The female smiled and hopped in front of him and started to walk backwards with a giggle. She leaned forward a bit and held her hands behind her back, not realizing her chest was more accessible to the eye view.

"What's you're question Jack~?" The male blushed and quickly diverted his eyes from her chest and tried to calm down his rapidly beating heart.

"W-Well uhm...well." He cursed his stuttering as he looked towards the side making her giggle and brush back some of her hair. She continued to walk backward, not noticing a fallen branch before it was too late.

She gasped as she slipped back causing him to gasp and reach out to her. He placed his hand on the back of her head while placing the other around her back as he fell forward. She gripped his shirt tightly and closed her eyes awaiting for the pain but it never came.

Jack let out a huff and slowly leaned up to look down at her making sure she was ok. The female looked up at him with wide eyes and a growing blush that formed on her cheeks from embarrassment.

"Are you alright?"'He questioned as he looked her body up and down for any cuts or bruises.

"I-I'm f-fine." He rose an eyebrow as she stuttered but then finally realized the situation they were in. One hand was placed firmly onto the ground right beside her head while his other was placed on her hip, squeezing ever so slightly. He blushed as he really looked at her seeing both her hands up above her head, one of his legs was in between both of hers.

"J-Jack?" He gulped and stared right into her eyes, allowing his gaze to get lost in her chocolate orbs.

"Y-Yea?" She gulped before looking towards the side exposing her neck and making his mind run wild with crazy thoughts. 

"S-Sorry, I'm really clumsy sometimes." He looked at her surprised before letting out a soft chuckle.

"It's ok, I'm clumsy too." She smiled and turned her head back to face his and gently raised it, planting a kiss on his cheek causing his face to flush red.

"What was that for?"

"For saving me again dumbass." He blinked ever so slowly before chuckling to himself causing her to giggle in return, soon the laughter died out and both continued to stare into each other's eyes, not realizing they were slowly leaning into each other.

"(Y/n)?" 

"Jack?" 

"Ahem?" They both tensed up before looking towards the side, seeing the three smirking down at them.

"Seems like you two were having fun." Jack blushed at Shrek's comment before immediately sitting up with his hands in the air.

"S-She slipped! I-I was just-"

"Hey hey it's alright man, we get it~" Shrek chuckled causing Jack to glare and flip him off before turning towards the female who still lay underneath him. He held out his hand causing her to take it and slowly stand on her feet along with him.
