*y/n's pov*
Rosa ushers us inside the house and motions us to sit down on the couch. we both sit in silence and she rants, "what did you think you were doing! flying around in the city at night! someone could have spotted you! you could have crashed into a building! y/n, you were supposed to keep Freddy safe! and you decide to go on a fly-around! I expected more from you!-" and Freddy interrupts, standing up, "MOM, STOP! Y/N'S ALREADY REGRETTING THINGS AS IT IS! HE'S GONE THROUGH A LOT AND I'M TRYING TO HOLD HIM TOGETHER THE BEST I CAN BECAUSE I LOVE HIM AND HE DESERVES TO BE TREATED FAIRLY, LIKE THE REST OF OUR FAMILY!" Rosa looks sorrowfully at him and he lets out a sob, falling into her arms. I stand up and hug him from behind. he turns to me and wipes his tears. "I'm okay." he says with a shaky voice. he turns back to rosa and asks, "can we go to bed? I want to sleep, like, really badly." she nods slowly and he starts heading up the stairs. I go to follow him but rosa asks,
"y/n?" I turn to her and she continues, "protect him. for us. I don't know what I would do if he was...." she gulps and I say, "don't worry, I will." she nods and I go to the stairs, walking up to Freddy's room. once I'm at the door, I go to knock, but Freddy pulls me in, shutting the door behind him. we both collapse onto his bed and he hugs me, snoring quietly. I smile and stroke his hair as he snores. he mumbles in his sleep, "y/n?" I answer, "yeah, Freddy?" he continues, "I love you, my shining supernova." I whisper, "I love you too, my Captain Everypower." and he leans up, kissing my lips and I wrap my arms around his waist. in-between kisses, I ask, "you weren't asleep?" he replies, "you weren't either." I chuckle and kiss him again. but then, I feel a pain in my chest. I groan in pain and Freddy says, "y/n? are you okay?" I can't answer him and lift up my shirt, the same wound from the golden apple has reopened on my chest, but it now glows blue and purple, with black veins snaking from it. I roll off Freddy's bed and stumble to the window. I pull up the shade to reveal a black man, floating on a chair with a purple and green iron clad suit. "you." I say. Freddy walks to the window and sees him, asking me, "y/n, who is that?" I answer, "Kang. Kang The Conqueror." Kang says to me, "hello Nova, we meet again."
