CHAPTER TWO

        I don’t think I’ve done any introduction hi my name is Chimamanda David my friends call me Amanda I am 16 years old second child of Mr. and Mrs. David I’m about to start a new school as an ss1 student my brother and sister are already students in the school Daniel is in ss3 about to write he’s senior WEAC while chikiama is in jss2

As we got closer to the school you could see a statue holding a board which says

WELCOME TO GOLDEN HEIGHT ACEDEMY

“Hmmm fancy” I said just as we passed the statue outside the gate

My brother snickered at the back and said
“Yea because we are not broke like your formal school"

Sky high school is a nice school but they rarely spend money on infrastructure

I just rolled my eyes at what he said and look out the window I saw students walking in groups and laughing

The gate man and security personnel’s greeted us and showed my dad where to pack
When we got down my dad told my brother to look after me and drove off to work

I heard someone running towards us shouting kiama from afar by the time she got to us she was breathing hard after taking a deep breath she said excitedly

“Senior Daniel good morning”

My brother grumbling replied
“Morning Sarah how are you”

Sarah ah yes I’ve heard of her apparently she is kiama’s best friend she’s a talkative and according to rumor she has a crush on Daniel just as I looked at her I wonder how someone so active became friends with my very quiet and calm sister well like they say opposite attracts

“Hello my name is chimamanda I’m chikiama’s sister” I said waving to her

She turned to me and said
“Oh hi I’ve heard of you kiama talks about you a lot”

Now that was shocking I looked towards the girl at my left that haven’t say a words to me since morning I could see the blush on her face I can’t help but laugh at her  
Sarah continue without noticing her friends distress

“Senior you are so beautiful you welcome to G.H.A”

“Well thank you, you look pretty too”

Before she could reply Daniel spoke
“Please you guys should spare me all this girly things and you” he said referring to me

"I don’t care about what dads said in this school you are on your own"  he said before walking away grumbling

"I love you too"  I shouted so that he can hear and it caught others attention they looked at us which made him angry but he pretended as if I wasn’t talking to him

He may pretend but I know he loves me so much

“Ok sis have a good day” my sister said before dragging her friend that was staring at Daniel figure
Oh this isn’t a rumor she really has a crush on my brother

Oh well I look around and I don’t see any familiar face but I remember last week when I came with my parent for registration the secretary told me to come to her office first thing on Monday I just have to remember the route to the administrative building I will be fine
So I balanced my backpack rise my head up smile and walk to gods knows where as I was walking I saw people staring at me I rolled my eyes well I like the attention so I did not complain

I found my way to the administrative block I met the receptionist  and told her I was new she ask for my name and log in my profile in her system she made a call informing someone I was here then she directed me to an office door that has secretary writing on it
