Monty and Moon were now exiting the storage room on their way to the daycare to see Sun for a little while. A light red still brushed against their cheeks from what happened in there, but it was easy to tell anyone that passed that it was from work. The daycare attendant thought it was a good idea, because if Monty noticed something wrong with Sun as well it would be a sign that he wasn't going crazy. However, on the way there someone stopped their tracks. Silas. He ran up to the both of them, before stopping at least a couple feet away. It was obvious that he was still overwhelmed by the height difference.
"Hello," He greeted, "Um, I was instructed to talk to the both of you about some things.... since.... you guys are obviously friends and everything."
The two animatronics tensed up to the sound of that, but agreed to follow him into Parts and Services, where no one else was around. This must've been important if it had to do with the both of them. It wasn't often that two animatronics were called in at once.
Silas cleared his throat before saying, "Well, first of all the staff has decided to put you in as an official part of night time security Monty because... um... Vanessa passed away."
Monty jumped to the sound of that, "Wait, she's dead?" He tried to act surprised and upset about the matter, but in reality he wasn't. She never treated anyone with respect around the pizzeria.
Silas nodded.
"Holy Stars," Moon exclaimed, "I mean, she looked sick at new years but I didn't think it was that bad!" It was obvious that Moon was pretending as well. The two looked at each other with a knowing look on their faces. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"That's the thing," Silas replied, "Her sickness wasn't the main cause, according to the people who reported it. They said that she just had a really bad fever. The main cause is unknown, however."
The room went dead silent.
"Unknown?" Monty asked, breaking the silence.
Silas nodded, "Promise not to tell anyone about the topics talked about here, alright?"
The two nodded, and with that the young adult continued, "Second of all, there is something wrong with Sun."
That caught Moon's attention fast, "What did you find?"
"Well, I was looking through his code since I was instructed too by the rest of the staff," the worker explained, "And there was something about killing in his code. I don't know how it got there, but I need you to get him here ASAP." He pointed at the daycare attendant, "We cant have anyone getting injured."
Moon went dead silent, but nodded as he ran to the daycare. Monty asked if he could help him, and luckily Silas nodded, giving him permission to be with Moon a little longer.
"I should've known," Moon muttered to himself as he ran.
Monty heard him and asked, "Known about what?"
"I should've know that something was really wrong with him!" He cried, "I mean, I saw a little red in his eyes but I thought that it was a glitch! I didn't know that there was a full-on change in his code!"
They had made it to the front doors of the daycare, making them both go silent. They both looked at each other before knocking on the large, wooden doors in unison, and as expected Sun came running to the doors. He pushed the doors open, acting like his usual self.
"Hello Moon," He greeted, "Hello Monty!"
The two greeted him back before Moon spit out some of the news, "Um... You were instructed to be at Parts and Services."
His smile slightly faltered, "Why? Is something wrong with me?"
Moon felt bad, but continued, "It's just a little glitch in your code, and it will only be a couple minutes.
"Really? I...I don't feel anything different!" Sun stuttered, beginning to fidget with his ribbons. That same red spark appeared in his eyes again, but this time it stayed. The couple noticed it almost immediately.
"Sun, just come with us, you'll be fine." Moon assured him, taking a step forward.
"NO!" Sun yelled, taking a few steps back, "I'M FINE! I DON'T NEED IT!"
Moon tried to approach him, only to be lightly shoved away.
"Sun, something is wrong with you, and you know it too!" Moon told him, "I can tell!"
Sun shook his head, not believing a word. A low growl escaped his voice box, making the other two surprised. This was definitely not normal. Monty approached the star as well, and the two worked together to grab him. Monty grabbed his arms, pinning them to his back like he was a criminal. Moon hated seeing his brother like this, but he knew it had to be done. To make it easier to drag him to Parts and Services, he reached into the back of his head, gently pushing away wires to get to the power button. The way Sun squirmed in Monty's grasp made the job much harder.
"LET ME GO!" He roared.
"How about no?" Monty replied with a smirk. This was obviously no struggle for him. Right when Moon reached the power button, he heard a loud CLANK! Monty had fallen onto the ground.
"Hey, are you alright?" Moon asked, concern laced in his voice as he held out a helping hand. He used his other hand to keep his brother up.
Monty nodded as he accepted his partners offer to help, "He kicked my in the knee, but it wasn't too hard so I'm alright."
Moon nodded, picking his brother up from the ground bridal-style.
"You make that look easy," Monty told him, massaging his pained knee, "How do you do that?"
"Same way everyone else does," Moon replied, "It's really not that hard, he's pretty light if I do say so myself, everyone is really."
"You wanna bet?" The reptile asked with a smirk.
"Ha, no!" The daycare attendant replied, running ahead with his brother in his arms. Monty easily caught up with him due to the weight he was carrying, and they both managed to jog their way to parts and services. It really wasn't that hard. Silas was already on his computer when the they returned with the buggy animatronic, and they both heard him chuckle from the sight.
"Dang Monty, you didn't even help him out?" He asked.
"Hey, I pinned Sun down alright? Its harder than it looks!"
Silas laughed, but still got to work after Moon set the now unconscious daycare attendant down on the metal table in front of them. He hummed a catchy tune as he worked, and the couple stayed put nearby, for they were instructed to since Sun wasn't in the safety cylinder. Everything was going well until Moon noticed a change in Silas' facial expression. He looked worried.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
Silas looked up from his work, "I might have to delete some of his memory."
