"Hey, are you ok?" Was all that the reptile could say as he stared into the shaking pupils in Moons eyes.

The jester broke the gaze as soon as he heard Monty talking to him, getting up to walk away, "S-sorry" he stuttered before trying to run away.

His run was stopped by the feeling of the alligators hand gripping onto to one of his. He turned to tell his partner to let go, but immediately decided not to with the look of sudden concern he saw. However, it didn't stop the voices from increasing in volume.

Stop.... stop... stop..

That's all that echoed in his head, but that didn't stop the noises at all. At this point he didn't know why he pleaded for it to stop anymore. Too desperate? He had no idea, but he didn't really care for an answer either.

 "Moon?"

He couldn't say anything. He didn't WANT to say anything. With a moment of hesitation he pulled away, trying to run off again before falling to the impact of a club that got thrown at him from behind. Luckily, or not luckily, for him Montgomery caught him before the front of his body could meet with the ground.

"I'm sorry," Monty apologized, "but I just can't let you go running to who knows where. I want... no... I NEED to know what's wrong. Alright?"

Moon sighed, escaping Monty's grasp as he felt tears form at the corners of his eyes.

Stars, not now...

"Lets at least go to the daycare first." He mumbled.

Monty nodded in understanding, following the daycare attendant back to his home in silence. They made no eye contact on the way there, and without their voices being heard from each other the place seemed almost... empty. They both needed each other.

Moon weakly knocked on the large wooden doors of the daycare, looking down at the ground to further avoid eye contact with anyone nearby as he listened to the reassuring sound of Suns pounding footsteps coming to aid him. Sun opened the door, his usual cheery look transforming into one of concern.

 "What's... going on?"

Moon looked up at his brother, "The voices." He mouthed.

"Oh," Sun eyes widened, "Well come in, there's.. plenty of room for the two of you!"

They both thanked him as the passed the doorway, allowing Sun to close the door behind them.

"I'm guessing you... want to know what's going on, Montgomery?"

Monty nodded, watching as Moon laid down in the napping area. He could hear shaky breathing from where he was standing, which was by the way still near the doorway.

"Want me to tell him, Moon?"

A thumbs up appeared from beneath all of the soft material, and with that Sun started, "Well... ever since Moon got cured from the uh... 'unaliving glitch,' he has been hearing the voices of the children he uh... you know... whenever he gets reminded of it somehow."

 "Oh..."

A noise of discomfort disrupted them from afar.

"Hey, are you ok Moon?" Sun asked.

 "Yeah!" Moon lied.

The star turned back to his guest, "What did you guys do that... resulted in this?"

"Well, he pinned me down to the ground and we had a little fight... not a true one of course, just a more playful one, you know?" Monty explained, "He ended up laughing like Bo Burnham from that one 'Welcome to the Internet' song though while he was pinning me to the ground. I'm guessing that's what made him think of it."
