Monty's Repairs

It was officially the closing time for fazbear's pizzeria. The remaining people who were within the huge mall-like building were either buying things from the gift shops at the last second or crowded around the exits. It gave all of the animatronics easy access to the charging stations, but Montgomery had to do a couple things before he could even charge himself.

One of the things was already checked off from the list of things he needed to do when he saw Vanessa passed him, looking like she was about to die from a disease.

"You're gonna have to take over my job today." She managed to inform the alligator before she left.

"Hope you feel better soon!" Monty lied with a wave goodbye. No one really liked Vanessa. Freddy has been trying to be her friend, but nothing has worked so far for him.

The only thing that he needed to do, other than meet Moon again, was clean himself up. Pizza grease was all over him now from all of the kids, along with a couple scratches here and there from drunk adults attempting to destroy him after losing in golf. It made him wonder why fazbear's entertainment decided to provide these "adult beverages".

Monty washed off the grease before heading to the parts and services. A few staff bots looked at the reptile before quickly backing away, signaling that they were the ones destroyed by Monty during the days that Sun and Moon were getting repaired. He chuckled at their vulnerability as he passed them. He didn't know why, but he enjoyed it when the smaller robots were afraid of him.

It didn't take long for him to appear at Parts and Services, and to his relief someone was already waiting there. They were looking at their computer, looking worried. Monty had never seen them, so he assumed that this person was new to the job. He looked at least 20, and had black hair that covered one of his eyes. Monty slowly approached him, not wanting to scare him. His curiosity got the best of him, and soon enough he was peering at the screen from behind. He was looking at someones programming. He couldn't tell who's it was, but it was easy to tell that there was a problem in it. The word kill caught his eye, and he would've looked more into it if the young adult didn't turn to greet him.

"Hello Montgomery," The male greeted, not looking fazed, "How long have you been here?"

"Enough to see all of that code on the screen." Monty replied.

The worker laughed, gesturing at the tag on his leather jacket, "Well, I'm Silas. I just started working here and was instructed to help you, along with a few others."

Monty sat down, "Well, who are you helping on your computer?"

"I'm not allowed to tell," Silas informed his new animatronic friend, "Don't know why, but I don't want to get fired when I just started."

The alligator laughed as he followed the new worker to the back of the room, where lots of buckets of paint along with extra parts laid upon shelves. Before Silas could even begin searching, Monty grabbed a small can from the top shelf, checking to see that he grabbed the right thing before handing it to him.

"Wow, you really know where everything is, do you?" Silas said with a chuckle.

"Well, I've been here enough times."

The damage applied to Montgomery wasn't that bad, so it only took about five minutes to cover it all. However, he had to wait another 20 minutes for the paint to dry. This allowed some more conversation to happen as Silas continued to inspect the code on his screen. Monty was now too far away to read it, so he just decided to talk to the young adult as he looked around the room.

"So what made you want to work here?" He asked.

Silas looked back at the curious animatronic, "Well, I heard that one of the people that is trying to ruin my life was banned from here, so I thought it was the safest option. I also obviously need the money."

Monty gave him a short round of applause, "You're better than most. Most come for the free pizza."

 "Who would blame them though?"

Monty shrugged, ending the conversation temporarily. The remaining of the 20 minutes was occupied with more talking, along with awkward silences in between. Despite this, they seemed to have become good friends, which was nice. They both said their goodbyes to each other before Monty left, walking out proudly almost feeling like a new gator. Still, he knew what he had to do next. He found himself mentally sighing to himself as he walked along the path to the daycare.

Wait, why am I getting nervous?

Before he could even get stuck in a train of thoughts, he froze to the sound of soft tapping right above him. He quickly looked up to see a pair of red lights. He recognized them almost immediately.

 "Moon, I see you!"

Monty heard the daycare attendant growl before dropping to the ground in front of him. He now had his arms crossed, as if disappointed over the fact that the Rockstar had to look up.

"Awwww, is Moony upset?" Monty teased.

Moon laughed, "Well, at least I'm not hanging from swinging sign. It can be worse."

"Why do you like being up there anyway?" The Glamrock asked, "Is there something I'm missing?"

Moon shook his head, "I just like creeping people out sometimes."

 "Don't blame you."

They began walking beside each other, an awkward silence standing between the two. Monty was getting tired of all of this silence.

 "So... you still remember everything-"

"Yep!" Moon interrupted nervously, his pace increasing slightly.

A sigh of relief washed over both of them when they realized that both of them remembered.

"Thank goodness..." Monty said to no one in particular.

"I honestly thought that you were going to forget about that.." Moon told him as he took a familiar paper mache star from beneath his hat.

"..And why is that?" Monty questioned.

"Well, a lot of the staff has been saying that you forget a lot." He laughed nervously, "I hear a lot of things."

 "I can tell."

The two animatronics have made it into the storage room that they were in before the problem that started all of this awkwardness in the first place. They didn't realize this until a couple sparks flew right in front of them.

"Oh my stars..." Moons voice trailed off as he looked at the single remaining staff bot that Monty destroyed in front of him. The reptile didn't know what to do.

 Should I tell him?

"What happened here?" Moon asked, picking the Map bot up like a teddy bear.

Welp, I guess that's a yes. Good going me...

"I kind of destroyed him a while ago." Monty muttered.

 "Why?"

 "Why do you care?"

Moon hesitated before saying, "Fair enough."

They both laughed as the daycare attendant carelessly threw him at oh so familiar pile of boxes. They passed it as a red hue appeared on both of their face. It was hard to tell if it was from all of the laughing or if the memory of them kissing had flooded into both of their minds with them knowing. Either way, they didn't dare look at each other for a while.

This is going to be a very awkward night, isn't it?
