Moon POV:
Ok, so it all started when I woke up. I was always more... shy, as people would call it, but on my first day awake.... boy was I a nervous wreck. I first awoke in Parts and Services like everyone else. The mechanic that worked on me had to leave, but gave me a stuffed animal. The one known as Nighto. The workers name was Marcy, and with the couple minutes that I had with her she seemed really nice. That's probably why I quickly came to... dislike Vanessa after she left.
Vanessa was instructed to lead me to the daycare to meet Sun. She wasn't as talkative as Marcy was, nor was she the nicest. She would give me a judging look whenever I squeezed Nighto out of nervousness. Still, I didn't really mind that. It was my first day walking around the pizza plex after all.
"So... what is this 'Sun' like?" I asked, hoping that a good conversation would distract me from the overwhelming sights around me.
"Oh, he's definitely the opposite of you," she chuckled as she hit the side of her flashlight to keep it working, "He has a lot of energy. Too much for me. If anything he could fit in with the children he's taking care of."
I mean... she wasn't wrong. In fact, I say that all the time these days just to mess with him. Her tone of voice was just scary to me at the time.
I gulped, "Is he taking care of any right now?"
"I don't think so," Vanessa replied, "The pizza plex closed like... 5 minutes ago."
"ok..."
She gave me yet another judging look as we walked into a room that is well-known as the pickup area. It was filled with many tables and chairs, with golden statues of me and what I was guessing was Sun. Just looking at the golden version of Sun sent chills down my spine, and to this day I have no idea why. I walked to the end of the room, not even daring to enter the slide entrance to the daycare without Vanessa's permission. I looked through the clear wall of the place, where Sun was stacking barrels at the time. It almost sounded as if he was scat singing in the tune of the daycare theme.
"Welp, there he is," Vanessa said, "What do you think?"
I didn't know what to say, so I just kept on staring at the star. I could already tell that he was going to be a handful to be around. Despite that though, he seemed like a nice enough fellow.
"Follow me." The worker ordered.
I did as she said and followed, and before I knew it I was at the large, Oakwood doors of the daycare. I grabbed one of the golden knockers, and waited for Vanessa's permission to let go of it.
"Let go." Was all she needed to make me let go. The sound of it slamming against the door made me jump, and as I landed back on the ground the sound of running footsteps could be heard. As you can imagine they were pretty loud. It was difficult for nearly anyone to make a noise louder than the daycare theme. These days the music is at a much lower volume due to some incidents which involved ruining some children's abilities to hear, but still.
The doors were pushed open by the older daycare attendant, who immediately gasped at the sight of me. He began hopping out of excitement.
Here we go...
SUN POV
I remember being so excited to see Moon! The staff had informed me about him about a week before he actually came, so I was working EXTRA time to make him at least feel at home. How Moon acted was totally unexpected though. No offense to him, of course! Vanessa left as soon as she heard my gasp, leaving me and Moon alone. Well, not AS SOON as she heard me.She did whisper to me about the stuffed dog in his hands before leaving. The first thing I noticed, however, was his blue eyes, and the way his pupils shook with fear. I was used to these sorts of reactions from the children, so... I did what I usually did with the wonderful guests at first. I let him in, made sure to keep my distance, gave him a tour, etcetera.
