I was still in my 'fake' police uniform. I wore my baseball cap. I sat on the table and my legs on the bench. This is exciting. Tej started typing some stuff into his computer and then grabbed the handprint. Now it was time to see if this works and if there was actual money inside.
"Come on, baby. Don't be mean" Tej said as he put the handprint of the palm scanner and placed his hand on it. My heart was beating so fast. This is too exciting man. "Come on" Tej muttered. Rico and Tego on the bench with me. Rico held a deck of cards. Roman sitting on some steps. Brian and Mia. Han and Gisele. Dom. This felt like family. Now let's see if this works.
The palm scanner started beeping.
Unlocked.
We all stared at each other. Waiting for Tej to open the vault. He opened it and boom.
Money, Money, Money.
"Holy shit" I sighed. I was happy. I put my hands on my head. The deck of cards in Rico's hands flew everywhere. Gisele and Han shared a smile. Brian and Mia kissed happily. Rico and Tego did they're little handshake but Rico was still frozen. Roman happily jumped over the railing and ran towards Tej.
I was finally happy. I looked at Dom, sharing a smile. I nodded in appreciation. I looked at Tej and hugged him.
This is family.
