EMMA-BROOK O'CONNOR

POLICE STATION

Roman went out to deliver the box, the box that had the toy car inside so we could take a peak at what was inside the room. Took Roman a couple of minutes. "Where are you living now, Em?" Brian asked me. "The big city, New York" I smiled. "Damn, that's nice" He said. "Yeah, very. Got a job too. I'm a garage mechanic" I spoke. "Get paid well?" He asked. "Yep" I smiled again.

Roman opened the van door and hopped inside. "It's done. See, I think I make a better special agent than you ever did" Roman said as I switched seats with Brian. He was at the back with Rome. I was at the front with Tej. "Well, that depends on how you define special" Brian teased and we all laughed. I fist-bumped Brian.

"Come on now, let's see what we got" Tej said as he held the remote control for the toy car. "Not funny" Roman whined. "All right, come on" Tej said as he was able to get the car out of the box. "Dawg, you still can't drive" Tej said as he was bumping into stuff.

He then bumped into a pole. I tried so hard not to laugh. "Now, I see why you're always getting into accidents. You can't even drive a damn remote control car" Roman teased. "I'm going to need you to shut up right now" Tej said as he was trying to focus. "I'm not gonna shut up" Roman said.

"Shut up" Brian and I said as we both looked at him. He then stayed quiet. "Strap him in his safety belt, man" Tej said as Brian and I laughed. "Give me the remote dawg, go left" Roman said.

"It looks like something right over there to the left. What is that?" Roman said. "Where? Here?" I said as I turned around and gave him the middle-finger. "I'm telling Dom on you, he'll break that fucking finger" Roman said. "Go ahead, I ain't scared of him" I smiled.

"Bingo" Tej said as he found the vault.

"What is that 6 by 6?" Brian asked. I examined the vault. "8 by 12" Roman joined. "7 by 12" Tej and I spoke as Brian looked at us with a confused emotion. "Fitted with 18-inch-thick steel reinforced walls with an insulator copper core to protect against thermal lance" Tej said as I started to continue his sentence. "A class-3 electronic lock with a surefire Griffin retumbler and a biometric palm scanner. Ten tons of top-of-the-line security" I said. Brian looked at me as if he saw a ghost.

"Do I want to know how you know all of that?" Brian asked Tej. "I had a life before you knew me, O'Connor. Let's just leave it at that, all right?" Tej said I as let out a small laugh. "Uh-uh! Don't laugh, we're having a talk after this, okay?" Brian said. I scoffed.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever, man" I said as I rolled my eyes.

BACK AT THE OLD WAREHOUSE

Rico and Tego were told to go and blow up a sewage pipe that leads to a bathroom so basically blowing up a bathroom. Reason? So we can see the surveillance cameras. So we know our boundaries.

"Got it, we got it!" Mia shouted. "Yeah, we're looking at four cameras" Brian said. "Yo that's some high-end shit, too. Marker Optics" Han said as he pointed at the cameras. "Hundred-degree-field-of-view" Han spoke again. "Ten second oscillation" He said again. "Yeah, that's a narrow window, man" I spoke.

"Can't we just tap in and replace the image?" Gisele thought. I thought it was a good idea. "No it's hooked into a digital sync. They would know we were in the system. The best we can do is peek" Tej said. "We're going to need some real fast cars to get through this" Roman spoke.

"Not just fast. You got a hard right and a hairpin. We're going to need something agile" Han said as I agreed. "You guys mock up a track" Dom said.

"O'Connor, let's go get some cars" Dom said as I knew what he was thinking. Street Race. I coughed. "And Em" I said as I stood up. "No!" Dom and Brian shouted as they both pointed at me. "Why not?" I asked them. "It's too dangerous" Dom said. I looked at Brian. "What he said" Bri said. "I'm not a little kid anymore" I said. "Still, can't risk it" Dom said as he stared into my eyes making sure I got what he meant. I scoffed and nodded my head. "Fine" I said as I grabbed my jacket.

"And where do you think you're going?" Brian asked me. "Somewhere" I said. "Drop the attitude, Em" Dom said. "Hey, at least I'm not going to a street race" I said with my hands in the air. "Little shit" Brian whispered. "Just like an O'Connor" Dom said as he smiled.
