𝗜'𝗠 𝗚𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗪𝗛𝗘𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗟𝗜𝗞𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗢𝗥 𝗡𝗢𝗧

EMMA-BROOK O'CONNOR

I was in the hospital with Hobbs and his daughter, Samantha. I looked at the window, admiring the city. Knowing damn well what's actually happening in the city. I feel guilty not being able to help Brian or Dom.

"Breaking News"

I turned towards the TV. "Breaking news out of Los Angeles. In what can only be described as vehicular warfare police are engaged in a high-speed pursuit" Both Hobbs and I's jaws dropped. It's them.

That's until the TV got cut and played that 'wshhh' sound. "Toretto" Hobbs spoke. I turned to look at the window again. The building power blew up. "Dad, what's going on?" Samantha asked. 

"Daddy's gotta go to work"

Hobbs then broke out of his arm cast. I looked shocked. How does a man even do that? He then got his gear ready. I secretly packed some stuff in my car so I got ready too. I closed my trunk and turned around. "What on earth do you think you're doing woman?" He asked. 

"I'm coming with" I said as I cocked my gun. "No you're staying here, that was Dom's orders" He continued to walk away. 

"I don't give a damn what Dom says! He's not my Dad nor is he my brother. I love him but I can't just stay in this damn hospital waiting for some stupid signal knowing damn well they might be dead by the time I get a damn signal. They're the only family I have left Hobbs. My brother is out there for Pete's sake! So, no! I'm not staying. I'm going whether you like it or not"

Hobbs nodded and continued. 

A MINUTE LATER

Hobbs and I were in the ambulance. Driving through traffic, red lights and road-work. Then I noticed Hobbs was driving the wrong way. He was gonna drive off the highway. "Hobbs! What are you doing?!" I panicked. "Cars don't fly Hobbs! Cars don't fly!" 

"Yeah? Well this one does" He drove off the highway and we landed on some kind of drone. Then, a huge explosion collided. The ambulance turned on its side.

Hobbs kicked the windshield off the ambulance and walked out. I opened the back of the ambulance and started coughing. I walked towards the front of the ambulance and noticed Letty and Ramsey. "Last time, I'm ever getting in a vehicle with you" I pointed at Hobbs. 

As I was about to walk away, I noticed that the drone was still on. I grabbed my piston from my vest and shot at it. I started limping towards Letty's car. "Hey did you bring the cavalry?" Letty asked Hobbs. 

"Woman I am the cavalry" Hobbs grabbed a random machine-gun from the drone and walked away into the tunnel. "Of course you are" Letty smiled. "Who is that?" Ramsey asked. 

"A terrible driver"

"That's Hobbs"

"Ramsey Go!" I heard Brian's voice. I sighed in relief knowing he was still alive. "Brian did it, we're back online" Ramsey spoke. "We've got God's Eye back" She smiled.

Letty drove us back to where Dom was, that's where I saw Brian again. Shit. He's gonna yell at me for being here. I looked at the helicopter and noticed a car flying towards it. I looked confused because who the hell would do such thing.

Then I realised.

"Dom" I spoke to myself. He tried to crash into the helicopter but the helicopter moved quickly to the side as Dom started going downwards. "Dom!" Letty yelled and made a run for it. Roman and Tej ran for it too. 

Jakande thought he won and God's Eye was all to himself until he noticed that Dom threw the bag with the bombs inside it onto the helicopter. Knowing what needed to be done, I grabbed my pistol and shot at the bag. 

Brian looked at who was shooting at the bag. It was me, his sister. Then there goes a boom. The helicopter crashes down. "Emma!" Brian shouted as he tackled me to the floor, covering for me as the helicopter came down.

The whole team rushed towards Dom. Getting rid of everything that was on top of him. "Come on, come on buddy" Brian and Hobbs carried him out of the car. "Is he breathing?" Letty asked. Brian then gave CPR instructions to Letty. Brian then preformed CPR on Dom.

"Come on Dom!" Brian yelled. "Come on! Come on Dom! I need you to breathe!" Brian continued to do CPR while yelling at Dom and Letty. Letty then realised it was no use and told Brian to stop. "Stop it!"

"Will you stop! Breathe into him! Pinch his nose!"

"Get off of him!"

"You breathe into him!"

"Back off! Back off!"

They fought back and forth until Brian gave up and walked back. "Dom, baby. I know you're hurting right now but I want you to listen. Stay awake and focus on me, Dom" Letty spoke so softly. 

I nodded my head. This can't be happening right now. Everyone was in tears, knowing Dom might not make it out alive tonight. "I remember everything. It came to me like a flood. I remember that night in the Dominican Republic. The night we got married" Letty knows.

She finally remembers.
I looked at her with a slight smile. She's remembering everything now.

"If you die, I die and I'm not ready to leave this place yet. This moment is still ours. I remember everything. I remember it all" Letty kissed him. "It's about time" Dom spoke. I sighed in relief. I smiled and laughed. 

Brian looked at me. He smiled, gave me a side hug and kissed the top of my head. I hugged him back. I needed my brother at that moment. He's all I ever needed. 

"Why didn't you tell me we were married?" Letty asked. "Because you can't tell someone they love you" Dom replied. Roman and Tej then helped Dom up.

This is moment is still ours...
