I used fear leaving the window open
In case the spiders crawled in
If they invaded my space I would scream
So I kept my windows locked and clean
But now I have my windows wide open
I'm not so afraid anymore
Maybe it's because I moved away
Maybe this poem isn't about spiders at all.
