I can talk to you for hours
But I'd get bored after a day
I don't mind stargazing
In a platonic way
And I'd hold your hand in public
Because I'm scared of being alone
But please don't go on thinking
You're more than a name in my phone.

But only because I wanted to
Perhaps I was just bored
In need of something to do
And you happened to be there
I'm probably using you
I know that I'm a mess
A grey sky painted blue.

Only likeable
But you still seem to fall for me
Even though I've warned you
You still seem to care for me
Even though you don't have to
I can't seem to love you
And I'm sorry for that fact
And it seems as though you've understood
Your fall has made a painful impact.
