We had made it to the room I was kept in to sleep and me and Suri sat down on the bed, ready to tell each other what's been happening over these past six years I haven't seen her
"Sis, how's everything been going? I neeeed to know what happened while you were gone!"
"Alright, well, you remember Mr. Shinjuro?"
"I think so, wasn't he the kind man that trained you for becoming a demon slayer?"
"Yup! May be irrelevant to mention but he has two sons, and the one with the red and yellow hair outside is one of them!"
"You're right, that really was irrelevant, but it's still pretty cool if you ask me!"
"Still as cheerful as ever.."
"You mean enthusiastic!!"
"Hah! I guess I do! But what happened with you all those years?"
"Well, before I went to go and get trained, I kept my other promise that I would help the town and make sure they'd learn the fix the problems that they had, so when I'm gone like now, they won't have to worry"
"That's good N/n!"
"WOOOOW, hearing that Nick name after all these years feels so nastalgic-"
"Same goes for saying it, that's how you know it's been long!"
"Yea, but question, was there any other reason you wanted to join the corp other than to protect people from demons?"
"Honestly, yes, there is"
"What is it?"
"I wanna find a strong man that can protect and love me!!" Mitsuri said while being a blushing mess
"I honestly was not expecting that, but I don't blame you! But have you found the one yet??"
"Mhmm!! Obinai Iguro!! He's the one for me!"
"Oooh, the guy with heterochromia that looks like and has a snake?"
"Yup!! Isn't he so cute!! He's really stubborn and cold to the others but he's so kind to me!!"
"I'll admit, he does look attractive"
"I agree! But have you found a crush for you yet?"
My mind automatically went to both Zenitsu and Inosuke, but my mind once more, I thought of them as friends and nothing more, not yet at least
"No, I didn't"
"Liar!! You stayed quiet for WAY too long! Who is it? Who's the lucky person?? I wanna know!"
Right as I was about to respond, I heard an annoying voice screaming and running towards my direction with a devious laugh following them
"y/n-chaaaaAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!"
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, GET BACK HERE MONITSU!!"
"Come on.. Why now...?"
"What's going on N/n?"
"Two idiots that I mentioned earlier other than the one person that's NOT an idiot named Tanjiro, these are our friends, Inosuke Hashibira, and Zenitsu Agatsuma"
"Wait.. TELL ME ITS ONE OF THEM!!"
"HELP ME Y/N-CHAAAAAN, INOSUKE IS CHASING ME!!"
Zenitsu was about ready to bust through the door but before he could do that properly, Inosuke caught up to him, tackled him, and they both went through the door at the same time
"OH SHOOT- Zenitsu, Inosuke! What the hells going on here!!"
"HE TRYING TO ATTACK MEEE"
"Well stop it! Neither of y'all have a reason to fight physically!"
"Well I do!! Lemme fight em my queen!!"
'Oh god, here we go..'
"OH MY GOD, IS THAT WHY YOU SAID YOU DONT HAVE A CRUSH?! BECAUSE YOU'RE DATING HIM?!!"
"No, I'm not dating him, or Zenitsu, they're both just friends, Inosuke calls me his queen cause he's the king of the mountains and decided that I can be the queen and I agreed for the time being, and Zenitsu is a little simp that wants to marry me and asked me, and I said maybe just incase I ever do fall in love with him.."
"See! She loves me!"
"I NEVER TOLD YOU THAT!!"
"You will eventually~~" and then Zenitsu left
"HEY! GET YOUR ASS BACK HERE!" Inosuke ran to him, ready to get his revenge
"DON'T KILL HIM INOSUKE!"
"I think you and the multicolored-blondie would be a good match" Mitsuri said out of nowhere
"Why is that?"
"I don't know, I just get that feeling that you two would be a good couple"
I had a tiny blush on my face, trying not to imagine what we would be like if we dated, and acted like the idea was completely absurd
"Doubt it, he has Nezuko, he don't need me"
"Are you jealous??"
"We aren't going down this road again"
"You didn't say no though-"
"Just shut up and tell me what I did as a baby!"
"But you didn't say no!!"
"I'm not telling you!"
"You are, aren't you!"
"Tell me what I did when I was a baby already!"
"Fine but afterwards, we're going back on this subject, alright?"
