"So, instead of finding a pro hero, you guys decided to take down someone who has already killed many pro heroes." Shota took a deep breath in.
"All the pros were busy. It would have taken too long to find one. For both me and Shoto. When I arrived, Iida was about to be stabbed and Shoto arrived just as Stain was about to attack again." Izuku nervously got out.
"I'm so sorry for this, Mr. Aizawa. Please, do not blame them. It is my fault this all happened." Iida bowed his head.
"Believe me, you are getting plenty of blame. If I didn't see how much potential you have to be a hero, I would have already expelled you. I will speak to your family about this. You are all very lucky to have survived that and not be arrested. You did commit vigilantism." Izuku figured it best not to point out that he couldn't be arrested for vigilantism since he doesn't have a quirk. Also, that Shoto and Iida are from a family of heroes, therefore, can't be arrested because it would reflect poorly upon the heroes. "I have more to say, but now isn't the time. For the time being, you guys did good. Taking down Stain where many other pros failed, is not an easy feat. Still, don't do it again or I will expel all three of you. Now, I will bring Hizashi and Hitoshi in here. They're dying to check on you, Izuku." Iida and Shoto visibly gulped.
"Don't worry too much about it. He won't be giving those speeches as a teacher disciplining his students, but as my father who cares for his students. Although be prepared to feel ten times guiltier." Izuku told them once Shota left the room. "And it's a good sign that he waited til after we made it to the hospital and we're cleared by the doctors to scold us."
"Why do I get the feeling that you've been through this a lot?" Shoto frowned.
"Shut up and come here." Izuku ordered. He'd come over to Shoto's bed, but Izuku broke his ankle and knew he'd get yelled at for walking.
Shoto chuckled as he laid next to Izuku. Izuku guided Shoto's hand to his ribs and Izuku melted into the touch. "I see, you only love me because I'm your ice pack."
"And heater. I get cold, too." Izuku added.
"Right, right, my bad." Shoto laughed.
Iida loved the fact the two of his friends were very happy together. He really did, but, Dear Lord, he did not want to be third wheeling the entire hospital stay. It's so awkward. What does he even do? He wished Uraraka were here.
"You two have your own beds." Shota decided to give Shoto a withering glare. Shoto did, in fact, wither under it.
"He's here to cool down my ribs and ankle... and whatever else is broken. He's helping."
"I'm sure he's helping something." Izuku glared at Hitoshi who looked away with a smirk.
"I'll get you an ice pack. Separate beds. Now." Izuku pouted as Shoto hurried back to his bed.
"What could we even be doing? We're both broken and have no energy. I couldn't do a push up, so doing anything remotely like that is out of the question. Also, Iida is right there." Izuku huffed. He couldn't comfort snuggle with Shoto.
"Seems like you gave this a lot of thought." Hitoshi grinned before getting a painful ear pinch from Hizashi.
"Leave them alone, Hitoshi. It's bad form to do that while their in the hospital." Hizashi scolded, but it didn't really feel like Hitoshi was in trouble.
"The moment I'm better, I'm killing you." Izuku threatened.
"Yeah, what's a midget like you going to do? Bite my ankles?"
"He's bullying me. I was just attacked in a very scary situation, and he's bullying me." Izuku turned to his father.
"You're the one who just threatened to kill me." Hitoshi defended.
