Atsushi's pov :
Despite having done this time and time again the thought of being yelled at made his heard race with nerves .

Walking into the office and dazai looked pissed with a capital P .
"You wanted me ?"
"Atsushi do you think I'm stupid ?"
"What ?"
"do you think I'm stupid ?"
"No of course not "
"Good , so stop acting like I am , leaving this under a bag , this k better . I have work see you later"
He hands Atsushi his lunch .
"Oh ok bye "
As he walked to the hall he dumped his lunch in the bin .

He went and found akutagawa .
"Did he yell at you ?"
"Yes , for something different  , I don't think the school have called him yet thank god"
"you better come to next lessons"
"I will don't worry "

Break ended so they walked to lesson .
"We have maths so don't argue with him please "
"Ryu I would I'm a changed man "
"Yeah ok "
Atsushi side eyed him as they walked in .
"Atsushi come here for a second "
It was the teacher .
"I apologize for yesterday , I was having a stressful day and dumped in on you so I'm sorry , let's have a good lesson "
"That's fine , I wasn't having a good day either "

The lesson ran smoothly and ended , the rest of the day went by like a blink .

Atsushi scrambles through his bag .
"I think I left my lunch at home "
"you idiot "

They were in the hall as the doors to the roof were locked after yesterday .
He hates the hall as it was loud and was filled with people earings .
"Wanna go on a walk ?"
"Sure "
Akutagawa can tell when Atsushi is stressed out as he blocks everything out .

"Did you leave it on purpose ?"
"No Ryu I didn't , I was tired "
"Ok I believe you "

The worst thing is having someone you care about believe your lies .

The day came to an end , chuuya and dazai in the car at the front of the school .
As Atsushi was about to get in someone called his name .
It was the people he met earlier .

He walked over to see what they wanted .
"Can we have your number or your snap ?"
"You can have my snap , why ?"
"Because that's what friends do , we made a group chat so you can know when we're In the room "
"Oh thanks "
"Bye Atsushi "
"Bye "

He got in the car with a smile on his face .
"What was that about Atsushi ? "
Dazai turned around .
"Just some friends "
"They look sketchy "
"Dazai that's rude "
"Well has akutagawa met them , he looked suprised aswell ?"

Akutagawa gave Atsushi a quiet look.
"Yeah I have , the sun was in my eyes so I couldn't see at first "
"Oh ok then "

Dazai turned back around .

When they got home akutagawa dragged him upstairs .
"Who are thoses people ?"
"I met them when I walked around earlier , they are real nice"
"Are you sure ?"
"Yes "
"What did you do earlier ?"
"Give them my snap "
"Ok "
"hey um are we gonna re anyone about us as it feels weird Calling you my friend now "
"As long as it's not chuuya or dazai I don't care who you tell "
"ok "

They walk back downstairs .
"Well done Atsushi you ate all your food "
"Oh yeah "
Akutagawa was about to say some so he stood on his foot .

Chuuya seeing .
"Anyway we need to head out for an hour or two "
"Ok bye "

As soon as that door closed akutagawa turned .
"You lies to me ?"
"I had to "
"What does that mean "
"You would have told him otherwise "
"as I should Atsushi , are you having problems again "
"They never stopped Ryu , I just can't hide it anymore "
He felt tears building up in his eyes .
"Do you need me to tell someone ? Because your my boyfriend now and I care so much for you Atsushi "
"I know I care for you two , dazai just makes it worse . He doesn't understand he thinks I'm crazy "
"No he doesn't , as you said he just doesn't get it , but others do "
"Yeah ok "
"I'm serious , we can fine someone who understands and can help before it gets any harder"
