I let out a sigh of relief when Bill and Gustav walked through the door. I stood up from the chair next to Tom's bed and hugged both of them.

I could tell Bill had been crying and he immediately went to Tom's side once I let go. Gustav kept an arm over my shoulders as we stood and watched Bill.

Gustav rubbed my shoulder with his hand and I began to feel tears burn in my eyes as I replayed everything in my head. I haven't had the time to reflect on recent events with everything going on around me.

Gustav heard my sniffle and pulled me into another hug. "He'll be okay," Gustav tried to calm me and I relaxed in his arms. I somehow kept blaming it all on myself.

Had we had nor argued, he probably would have stayed the night. Have I not gone off on him, he probably would have made sure he wore his seatbelt. If I hadn't been texting him, he probably would have seen that car coming.

We heard someone knock on the open door and turned around to see one of the nurses. "Hi," She started. "I hate to be that person, but only one person is allowed in the emergency department as a visitor. You guys are more than welcome to wait in the waiting area. We just try to limit the number of people here in case of emergencies."

Gustav and I nodded before I walked over to Bill to hug him. "Keep us updated, okay? We'll come to get you when it's time." I kissed the top of his head and glanced over at Tom as I did so.

"I love you," I said softly to Bill who said it back in a whisper. I reached for Tom's flaccid hand and squeezed it slightly. "I love you too."

...

Tom has been spending the past few nights at our house mainly because I'm absolutely terrified to leave him alone, but he came of his own free will (kinda). Obviously with him came Bill, which I never minded having him over. I love both of them.

"Let me know if it hurts," I said to him as I put saline on a cotton ball and dabbed the side of his head. He sat down on one of the bar stools that surrounded our kitchen island so it made him the perfect height for me to clean his wound.

He stared at me fondly as my eyes focused on my task, occasionally glancing down and locking with his. "You're so beautiful," He said with a small smile and I felt my cheeks get warm.

He could call me beautiful a million times a day and I would never get tired of hearing it, not from him. "You too," I said with a smirk before placing the bandage over the clean wound.

He brought his hands to my hips and snaked them around before grabbing a handful of my ass to pull me closer in between his legs. I looked directly at him as he bit his lip and I grabbed his wrists to remove his hands.

"What did I tell you?" I said sternly, but I couldn't help but smile a little. "I'm sorry, Letty." He said softly and I raised my eyebrows.

"You don't even know what you're sorry for and that's how I know you're not." I crossed my arms and backed away from him a little.

"You scared the shit out of me, Tom," I admitted. "Why weren't you wearing your seatbelt?" He leaned back into the counter.

"I forgot. I just wanted to get back to the hotel." He shrugged and I rolled my eyes. "I'm not the only one doing stupid things and putting myself in dangerous situations here."

"I was protecting you!" I yelled and he shook his head while chucking softly. "I don't need you to protect me." He simply said and I rolled my eyes before turning on my heel to head toward the stairs. Gustav came down as I began walking up.

Tom's POV

"Why is it that every time you two talk she looks pissed off afterwards?" Gustav asked me as he walked into the kitchen. "Because it's your sister, she's always pissed," I said with a chuckle and he glared at me.
