Prism had never experienced a fishing trip before.

In fact she had never been on a boat along the river before. She had only ever seen them in books, and drawings from her dad, though never in person. She had been taken back by the size of the boat. It hadn't been small, though it hadn't been big either as they approached the dock, in a short walking distance of the Ideale Paradise itself.

Jareth had been reading the boat with Cheddy and Gian's assistance, as they had gotten bait, nets and even fishing rods ready. They loaded it all into the boats, while they, Yami, and the resident kids had gone on the boat.

"So---" Liam started to say, "---Remind me why you guys even have a boat on the river?"

"It's our annual fishing trip!" Aoife said, "Every year Uncle Jareth and Cheddy takes us out grabbing the best river salmon, catfish and bass this river and marsh has to offer!"

"It's a tradition in our family." Seimon added with a smile.

"There's a thing called River Salmon?" Brenin asked.

"What about the Wild Storm?" Aine asked, "I thought it was dangerous to venture anywhere but near there."

"That maybe, but it's okay!" Alys said, "The storm's clouds never ventured into the Marsh. Though it does get pretty cold out there this time of day."

"Well---" Brenin said gesturing to the winter coats they all had on, "---That explains why we're wearing these during summer."

"It's only so we don't catch a cold while we're out there." Chance said, "It's happened to us more then once."

"Hey---You sure you're not gonna be cold with just a scarf on?" Kim asked Yami, noting the fact he only had on a dark colored scarf around his neck.

Yami replied while taking a puff, "I'll live. This is nothing."

"You say that---" Chance said. "--Yet your arms are shivering. That cigarette is not gonna keep you warm."

"Not unless you're me." Yami said as Chance could only have an awkward look.

"Alright---" Gian said as he walked on deck, as he wore a trench coat with a hat, "---It's time to get this fishing trip started! The way this works is we go out to the marsh and fish for the biggest ones we can find. It's all for tonight's special dinner which is seafood themed!"

"Seafood?" Aine, Brenin, Liam and Theodore asked.

"It's based on Cheddy's experience from when he was overseas." Jareth replied, making sure the bait was secured, "Tonight we're gonna have some fried river salmon katsu and foreign style dishes."

"Let's hope the fish doesn't attempt to attack us again." Chance said.

"They're known to do that around here?" Aine asked.

"Oh yeah---" Seimon said, "---The marsh can get wicked dangerous. We've even had an encounter with a very large river snake that almost ate us once."

"Though not to worry we came prepared!" Iwan said before showing off a harpoon, "Now I never leave home without this baby!"

".... Why does that make me nervous?" Aine, Brenin and Liam thought.

Prism soon did her best sign as she asked, "... Different... Themes?"

"Yup, our themes differ each year." Aoife replied, "Uncle Jareth really gets creative with this kind of stuff! And so does Cheddy, though sometimes they can get competitive."
