Page 49: A Secret Place

-Somewhere in the Forbidden Realm-

    Asta and Nolan had been searching high and low for Prism, while they were in the Forbidden Realm. Yet as the sky turned dark, and the clouds started to gather. No matter how many times they called out her name, they didn't get a response back, nor did they find a trace.

    Even when they asked the people around about the young girl's whereabouts.

    At that point, Asta and Nolan had started to get anxious. They met up in the village square.

    "Any sign of her?" Nolan asked.

    "No! I checked with everyone!" Asta said, "You sure Zeus caught her scent through here?"

    "Yeah---" Nolan said, before he noticed the sky, "---Damn it, we're losing light. And with this smell of rain in the air, we're due for a thunderstorm!"

    "We'll find her!" Asta said, "I swear I won't rest until we do!"

    Nolan couldn't help but smile, before he had an idea, "I'm gonna check out the people at the Tarvern! Maybe they've seen her pass through earlier!" He soon made his way there before he turned back for a moment, "Keep an eye on Zeus for me!"

    "Yes sir!" Asta said as he gave a thumbs up.

    With that Nolan ran to the tavern, while Asta seemed to have lost his smile. He remembered the apologetic look she gave... So why did she leave, is what he ended up thinking.

    "... Pri... Where in the world could you have gone?"

    Just then he felt something rustling in his hood. He soon jumped at the sight of a familiar lemur made of light--One he knew by the name of--

    "Elior!?"

    He soon picked him up as he held him in front of him.

"What are you doing here!? I thought you couldn't leave Prism!"

    Elior started to speak, though all Asta could hear was the sound of bells as his expression fell a little.

    "Oh yeah---Prism is the only one that can understand you, since we're not bonded."

    He soon looked hopeful again, "But if you're here, does that mean you're here to help me!?"

    Elior nodded.

    "Can you show me where she is?!" He asked.

    Elior soon vanished in a white flash before reappearing again; though he looked to leading him outside of town. "I understand---" He said before he started to run towards Elior, "---Show me where to go!"

    Just as he left Nolan had returned.

    "Asta!? Where are you going?!" Nolan called out.

    "Sorry Nolan, I think I know where she is!" Asta replied as he ran, "We'll meet up later!"

    "What?!" Nolan said before he noticed the light lemur that Asta had been following, recognizing it to be one of Prism's Spirit friends.

    "Bime i elena..." Was all he could say.
