-Sometime Ago; Beneath Magic Knight Headquarters-

Though the invasion on the capital hadn't been not too long ago, behind public eyes the investigation had still been on going. As it was the citizens had been put at ease due to the story Julius had chosen to tell the public, they had only one lead.

That had been two of the people they had captured thanks to the efforts of Julius himself and Yuno.

Catherine and George had been tied to poles with the help of magic bindings, and yet despite this they remained firm.

"For the last time---" Acer said to the two of them, "---Who gave you the access to the Barrier Mages?! If you don't start talking there's gonna be hell to pay!"

"Hmph, you may look handsome, but there's no way I'm telling you anything." Catherine said as she surveyed Acer. "Unless--you got something to give me?"

Acer shuddered before he himself remained firm, "Spare me your advances, lady! I'm not into old witches like you!"

"OLD?!" Catherine shouted as she kicked, "WHY YOU LITTLE---WHO ARE YOU CALLING OLD?! YOU DON'T KNOW BEAUTIFY IF IT KICKED YOU IN--"

"QUIET!!" Ringo shouted as she stopped with a huff, "I don't care who, you better start talking! Otherwise, we'll let lose a Knight whom puts the meaning of dying with laughter!"

"... Now you're the one that's speaking jokes." George said.

"Look you're already on the hit list when you tried to kidnap the Princess, AND endangering innocent civilians!" Ringo said, "All I'm saying is you better not make us more angry with whatever loyalty you think you have toward the Midnight Sun group."

"Like we told you---We're not talking." George stated.

Catherine added, "Give it up! You two have been at this for a while! You two will never find the answers, even if you are the worst royal family in the kingdom."

Acer and Ringo sighed at this before they turned to Julius.

"This is getting us nowhere---" Ringo told him, "---We've been at this for weeks, and they're still not talking."

"Julius, how do you even know if they had someone---One of our own pull off this invasion?" Acer asked.

"Call it a hunch." Julius said.

"We could try Marx---!" Acer said.

"It won't work." Ringo said, "The Midnight Sun must have their own Memory Mage, because they have a protective spell. Even if we get Marx we won't be able to bypass through the spell."

"Well, how long will it take to get the spell undone?"

"It could take months before I could find a way to break it through. But obviously, that's time we don't have"

"Actually---" Julius said, "---I may have a faster solution."

The men looked confused before Julius gestured them to come closer. He soon kept the voice low before he told them, "I have an idea on how we can get through with the spell. We use our secret weapon, Asta."

Acer and Ringo looked shocked before they pondered.

"I mean---He can do it---" Ringo said, "---With his sword he can break the spell, make it seem like it was never there."
