The village had been lively as usual, not minding the Wild Storm at all. Many of the stores had been busy and everyone had been friendly towards one another. Many of the residents had been healthy, making a certain small clinic, almost empty.
The only ones that had been in it, had been Eryl and Yami.
He had just finished removing the cast on Yami's leg.
Eryl examined his leg as his pants had been rolled up to his knee, "It doesn't look like that wound left behind a scar. Can you try walking?"
"I can try." Yami said as he got up slowly. Despite staggering a bit, he started to walk with ease as he managed to reach across the room. He even stomped with it for good measure. At this, Yami couldn't help but smirk, "Well look at that, it's as good as new."
"Well, there's nothing wrong as far as I can tell." Eryl said, "It looks like your wounds have completely healed. Though I recommend you don't do anything reckless for the time being."
"Yeah Yeah." Yami said, "I won't make, no such promises." His look soon softened at a certain thought, "You've---Checked on the Lizard Girl right? Do you know what her condition is?"
Eryl soon replied, "The wound on her face should be healed by now, I'll remove it this afternoon--But the same, however, can't be said for her other injuries. You know as well as I, I can only do so much with my magic, and I'm nearly out of medicine to keep her fever at bay. Our village has had more sick children this year, so--I had to give them what I could."
Yami stayed silent at this as he took a puff. Eryl soon told him with a sigh, "The best way to help her is to get her to the capital as soon as possible, so she can get better treatment."
"Damn..." Yami said softly as he could still feel the ominous ki, "... You said Delrime has weather magic, right? Do you think he knows when the storm is due to end?"
"I believe so." He replied, "You can ask Carol to set up a meeting with them."
They soon heard a knock at the door; a nurse soon opened the door, "Doctor Eryl, the next patient is ready for you."
"Thank you." Eryl said, before telling Yami, "I better take this, you can head back to the Bed and Breakfast. Oh---And be sure to visit Cheddy, I heard he's done with your commission."
"Thanks." Yami said before leaving the office after fixing up his hat to hide his hair. He was soon outside the clinic as he started to walk in the direction of the swordsmith shop.
Yami couldn't help but have a thought.
"This is exactly the kind of thing I was afraid of. Not only is there the Lizard Girl's condition to worry about but now there's the DOLL. Judging from the Ki... She's just a few feet from the town's entrance. She's not stupid---She knows I'll be going to the Magic Knight Tower to get the other captains. Likewise, she'll attempt to ambush me the second she sees me and what's worse---"
A certain scenario seemed to come up in his head, as he could see Tolsa go up in flames, "--The whole town will end up getting destroyed to cover up the fact Prism is the Princess and that they killed me. With those in mind---There has to be some way to get the drop on that DOLL. What can I do?"
He soon heard a whistle, as it had been from Cheddy. He had soon realized he had been near his shop.
"There you are!" Cheddy said, "Come on, I got you a little something."
With no hesitation, he walked in his shop, just as Nye had been helping out with the costumers. Cheddy went behind the counter before he took out a certain item.
