CHANGE

After a few hours of driving, I checked myself into a hotel for an extended stay. I just needed a week or two to get my head together and relax.

I've had a crazy few days...I just need a break from everything. I showered, put on pajamas, then ordered room service.

I was only up long enough to eat, and I was out like a light.

The view was in a big church. I sat in the pew with a pretty dress on and heels. My hand touched my growing belly, and I smiled.

I heard wedding music while everyone stood to see the bride come inside. The gown was beautiful, but I couldn't see her face, the grooms, or the bridal party.

I felt so excited for the couple I didn't know. Suddenly, everyone sat down while I was still standing. At the altar stood Rin and Emi.. they looked in love, and my heart broke.

It was getting foggy as I called out to Rin. My yells were ignored, and I watched everyone keep their eyes on the couple.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

There were loud cheers and hand claps as I called out to Rin, but he still didn't hear me...no one did.

They kissed with smiles on their faces, and I screamed.

I woke out of my sleep with heavy breathing. All these scenarios began to play in my head, now that Emi is pregnant by Rin.

Will he marry her? Will he completely forget about the baby and me?

KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK

It was late, and I didn't have a clue who would be knocking at my hotel door. I stayed snuggled in my bed, assuming the person would just go away.

Then I heard a peep noise. Someone had a card to get into my room, and I panicked. I went to grab the hotel phone.

"Violet..."

I saw Rin standing in the room, and I broke down crying.

I didn't know how Violet was going to react when I got to her room, but I remained optimistic.

I knew it was late, but I knocked on the door. When no one answered, I used the card key.

She was about to pick up the room phone.

"Violet."

When she saw me, she began to cry. I hurried to her, and it felt so good having her in my arms again. I could hear the baby's heartbeat, and I held Violet tighter.

"Are you okay?" I looked into her eyes.

She gave a nod, wiping her tears. "I'm sorry I ran away."

"It's okay, baby. I understand...I'm just happy you're okay."

Her eyes had sadness in them.

"So my kid has a sibling already...I know about Emi."

"Emi isn't pregnant by me."

Violet looked confused. "Why would she say that?"

"To stay in good graces with her father."

She shook her head, then stood on the tips of her toes to kiss me. It didn't take much for me to get aroused in Violet's presence.

We kissed and I showed her how much I missed her. Even as she rode on top of me, I took over her body. With my hands gripping her waist, I held her in place and thrusted my hips upward.
