sofia POV
The next morning, I woke up to find Hugo still fast asleep beside me. Panic set in as I realized that Baileywick could walk in any moment. I shook Hugo vigorously, whisper-shouting, "Hugo, get up! Baileywick will be here any minute. Get off my bed and go sleep in the sleeping bag!"
Hugo groaned, rubbing his eyes. "Sofia, seriously? It's so early."
"I know, but I can't do anything about it now. Just get up and go sleep in the sleeping bag so no one will know," I urged.
"Fine," he mumbled, reluctantly getting out of bed and settling into the sleeping bag, already drifting back to sleep. It was just in time, as Baileywick walked in.
"Good morning, Princess Sofia and Prince Hugo! It's time to get up for breakfast," Baileywick announced cheerfully.
After breakfast, Hugo, Viv, and Des had to leave, and we bid them goodbye. It was just me and my siblings left.
"So, guys, did you enjoy yourselves?" James asked with a grin.
Amber and I nodded eagerly. "It was great!"
As we lounged around, Amber suddenly voiced her annoyance. "Ugh, I can't be bothered going to school tomorrow."
"Me neither," James and I chimed in simultaneously.
"I know it's important and all, but really, school? I think the weekend should be three days and school should be four. We need rest, especially with all our duties as royals," Amber complained.
"You're right, James, but I guess it is what it is," I conceded.
"That reminds me, Sofia, don't you and Hugo both have training starting tomorrow as well?" Amber asked.
"For what?" I asked, feeling a bit confused.
"Oh, silly, you're the crown princess, and Hugo is the crown prince. You both have training and stuff on how to take care of the kingdom, etc.," Amber explained.
"Oh, yeah, I remember now," I replied, the realization sinking in.
"Wait, don't you also have it, James, with Viv?" I asked.
"Yeah, but we don't start for a while," James confirmed.
"Ugh," I groaned in frustration.
Just then, Baileywick appeared. "Children, you have school tomorrow. You need to get to bed now."
"Hey, Baileywick," we chorused simultaneously.
After exchanging pleasantries, we all retired to our beds for the night, anticipating the busy day ahead.
