Von Doom's armor pieces on his shoulders, arms, and the tops of his hands opened up. Small blue darts shot out of the open spots on the armor and hit Harry in the neck, E.T. in the chest, The Hulk in the shoulder, and Spider-Man in the head. They yelled in pain in took their respective darts out. They began to feel tired. Had those darts been on them for longer, they would've lost consciousness. Spider-Man tackled Von Doom to the ground and started ripping the pieces of armor off his arms.

"What other tricks have you got up your sleeve, Doom?", Spider-Man growled. His spider-senses alerted him to danger coming from above. Von Doom grabbed his neck and head-butted him. Harry felt a bullet hit his shoulder. He screamed in pain. Spider-Man was shot in the hip. Von Doom kicked Spider-Man's bullet wound. The wall-crawler yelled. Von Doom stood back up in a way that was not human. Brrunk! Brrrink! Bullets hit the ground like rain. Popeye got clipped in his right arm. Harry saw these bullets hitting the ground.

"Protego Maxima", he cried as he waved his wand. An invisible shield formed and bullets began flashing off as they hit the shield.

"Enough of this, Doom!", said Popeye. He punched Von Doom on clean in his mask. The punch was so strong that he felt bits of machinery in his fist. Popeye drew his hand back out and the mask fell to the ground to reveal a busted robotic face similar to a Doombot. The Hulk smashed this robot dummy to pieces. E.T. healed Harry's wound and went over to Spider-Man to heal him.

"Thanks, buddy," Spider-Man said to E.T. after the healing was done. He petted him on the head. Doombots came flying toward the shield and started shooting their purple lasers at it to break it.

"One minute until Doom fires his nuclear strike," said Arnie. Storm gasped, tears about to fill her eyes.

"Stay where you are," Woody said to the rest of the Univengers. The woodpecker ran out of the shield faster than he had ever run before. He lept over the ditch and hurried up to the castle's entrance. He put his gas mask back on as he entered. He went through multiple rooms, trying to find one that resembled a control room. Finally, he found one and stopped in his tracks. This room was as large as a house and featured control panels for the Doombots. Most importantly, the Towers of Doom were here. The fusion dynamo sat in front of the towers.

Woody pulled a bundle of four sticks of dynamite and a matchbox from his right pocket. As he started to run to the other side of the towers, he saw the backside of the real Doctor Doom, who was looking at a screen that displayed footage from one of the cameras on the tower closest to the rest of the Univengers. A screen that was the size of a T.V. showed a map of the world. The bodies of land had green outlines and the water was purple. The doctor touched the locations that he threatened to obliterate earlier on the screen. Woody saw this. He's really going to do it, he thought. Von Doom seemed oblivious to Woody's presence. There wasn't any time to sneak. Woody took a match and lit it. He lit the bundle of dynamite and rolled it to the front of the fusion dynamo. Another bundle was lit and rolled to the left side of the dynamo. Woody began to run until he felt the worst pain he'd ever felt in his life. His back felt cold and wet...with blood. He felt another slash, crossing his right arm and down his back again. He collapsed. Von Doom turned around to catch what cut Woody: the saw from Ripsaw Falls. Von Doom saw the stick of dynamites about to go off. He formed a green force field around himself for a millisecond. A huge, fiery explosion erupted from the control room. The bullets firing from the towers stopped. All of the Doombots turned off and collapsed. The towers were singed from their footing and tipped backward, falling with torturous metal screeching. CLANG, CLUNK. The Univengers looked in amazement at the mushroom cloud dissipating into the early morning sky. A few seconds were spent digesting what had happened. Spider-Man spoke into his earpiece.
