Somewhere in the United States, there was a town called Springfield. It was bordered by Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky. The icon of the city was a sign that looked very similar to the Hollywood Hills sign. The people there were...interesting. They had yellow skin, big eyes, and overbites. In the West end of the town, there was an amusement park called Krustyland, owned and operated by Springfield's T.V. icon, Krusty The Clown. Even the entrance to the park was a giant head of the clown with his mouth wide open for visitors to enter.

Doombots were stationed here by Doctor Doom to act as "security officers". The visitors bought it. A few of the employees asked what the Doombots were doing there and they all said the same thing, "We are the new security guards. Krusty assigned us our jobs." The employees bought it too. As for their aircraft, it landed East of the amusement park and the coffin was kept safe there. The pilot Doombot guarded the aircraft. The Doombots that were put in Krustyland were there to be distractions from where Doctor Doom, Storm, and another Doombot were going: The Springfield Nuclear Power Plant. The Doombot was carrying a metal box with a handle. It was gray, and about the size and shape of a dog cage. The trio was able to get over the fence to the facility with ease as Doom and his bots had hover boots and Storm could fly thanks to her wind powers. The power plant looked like any other one. The centerpiece of this facility was two huge cooling towers with a design of an atom and its electrons on each. The trio was already in the building, surprised that the alarms didn't go off already. Who was in charge of safety here? A man named Homer Simpson. Loving husband of Marge and father to his three children, Bart, Lisa, and Maggie. His favorite food and drink were donuts and beer respectively. He always wore a white collared shirt with short sleeves and blue pants. His workplace was located in sector 7-G. His job was to help prevent a meltdown in the main reactor core. The trio walked into sector 7-G and stopped when Homer ceased his donut munching and noticed them.

"Looks like some people are excited for Halloween. Unless you're all from Iceland. Hehe," joked Homer.

"We are part of the Cosplayers Association Of America," responded Doom.

"Sounds stupid," said Homer.

"Well," said Doom. "To each his own. Do you know where the room that stores nuclear fusion is? We need some for our convention."

"Fourth room to the left," answered Homer.

"Thank you, Mr?", asked Doom.

"Simpson, Homer Simpson."

"Thank you, again," said the doctor. Homer went back to his donut munching while the trio walked to the nuclear fuel room. "What an idiot," Doom snickered to his cohorts. "I pity those who have to deal with him." Conveniently for the three, security for the plant was as effective as a screen door on a submarine. They stopped at the door labeled "Nuclear Fuel" with black lettering. Doom opened the door. A huge tank connected to the ceiling with the same label as the door dominated half of the space. A hatch about the size of a microwave door was in the center of the tank. The Doombot with the box opened the front of it outwards and held it under the hatch. It turned a wheel on it to open it. The hatch opened up and green nuclear fuel oozed out into the box. Doom looked at the fuel filling the box with his arms righteously crossed.

"Even in the most ridiculous places, there is something important to be found," he said while gesturing his hand to the fuel. Once the box was full, the Doombot closed it back up.

The trio walked out of the plant. The doctor peeled up a layer of metal on his right arm to reveal a speaker with a black button to the right of it. He pushed the button and spoke, "Attention, Doombots." Only the Doombots in Krustyland heard the message. "Leave your posts and we will rendezvous on the catwalks in the Captain Dinosaur building." The Doombots obeyed and walked to the backstage doors of Captain Dinosaur's Pirate Rip-Off, an indoor water ride with clunky animatronic dinosaurs dressed in pirate attire. The tagline was "A ride so old, it should be extinct".

The Uni-jet landed to the south of Krustyland. The back ramp opened and the team walked out.

"I'll look in the city for Doom," said Optimus in his truck form. "You all can look in that amusement park over there."

"I'll stay here," said Banner. "In case Doom or one of his henchmen try to steal the jet." Everyone except E.T., Spidey, and Optimus had walkie-talkies. Optimus could communicate through the walkie-talkie tech programmed into him. Spidey used an earpiece.

"I'll notify if I see anything," Optimus assured as he drove East.

"Be careful, guys," said Banner. The four heroes walked to the fenced backstage area of Krustyland. Before they could start climbing, Spidey stopped them.

"Hold on," he cautioned as he slightly held out his arm in front of them. He made a small web ball and threw it at the fence. Nothing happened.

"Just making sure," said Spidey. The four climbed over the fence. The nearest building to them was Captain Dinosaur's Pirate Rip-Off. They opened the "team members only" door and walked in. The group climbed up some stairs and below was a room with fake palm trees and other tropical plants. A water flume streamed in the middle and every eleven seconds or so, a brown boat designed to look like an old rowboat, passed through. The end of the room was marked with a cave entrance. An animatronic T-Rex clad in pirate attire with a right hook hand stood by the entrance to the left side of the flume. He growled, "Abandon all hope, ye who enter," every time a boat passed. The four Univengers were being watched. Not by security cameras, but by Doombots. They were on the other side of the room and were approaching the catwalk above. The Doombots stayed hidden and one of them contacted Doom. The doctor, Storm, and their Doombot comrade were about to enter one of the backstage doors when Doom got the message through his wrist communicator.

"Lord Doom," said the Doombot. Doom peeled up the layer again.

"Copy," he responded.

"Four Univengers are heading toward our rendezvous. What are our orders?"

"Stay where you are," the doctor instructed. "I'll be there promptly."

"Excuse me, sir" said a squeaky voice teenager holding a cup with a straw. This teen had brownish green hair and wore a shirt with red stripes and khaki pants. "You're not allowed to be back here, this area is for team members only."

"And you're not allowed to be on break," said Von Doom. The Doombot pointed its right arm gun at the teen. He dropped his cup and put his arms up.

"Yes, sir," he said, as he turned and walked away skittishly. Von Doom, Storm, and the Doombot walked inside the captain dinosaur building. They met up with the other Doombots. Doom examined the four heroes as they were almost to the catwalk.

"Banner is absent," he said as he turned to Storm. "He must be nearby. I want you to find him and...wake him up." Storm nodded and walked out.
