Book: Breakaway, Harry Potter Series
Chapter 17: Diagonally
Word Count: 1423It was morning by the time they got back home.
Jackson had his arm around Harry's shoulder as they got out of the car. "You'll love this place. Molly is the best and she makes great pancakes." He said excitedly.
"I'm just glad to be away from the Dursley's." Harry sighed.
Jackson pulled him closer. "The way he fell out of the window..." He paused as he laughed, "I don't think I'll ever find something funnier."
"That was brilliant." Harry laughed.
Fred and George both turned around, put their fingers to their lips and shushed them. Jackson poked his tongue out at them. He removed his arm from Harry and walked forward as they got to the entrance.
Fred unlocked the door and they walked in. Harry eyes moved around the home, seeing a pan that was washing itself up and a clock that showed where all the Weasley's were at all times. Harry couldn't help but smile when he saw a scarf being knitted by magic.
"It's not much, but it's home." Ron said as he took a bite of a breakfast roll.
"I think it's brilliant." Harry said with amazement.
Jackson laughed and nudged Harry. "Wait, until you see the garden."
Mrs. Weasley suddenly came from around the corner, slamming her hands on the table. "Where have you been?!" She yelled with an enraged expression.
Jackson jumped back in shock. Ron, Fred and George hid the breakfast rolls they had taken behind their back.
Molly saw Harry and her expression softened. "Harry, how wonderful to see you, dear." She turned back to the others and Jackson put his head down. "Beds empty! No note! Car gone! You could've died! You could've been seen!" She once again turned to Harry. "Of course, I don't blame you, Harry, dear."
"You don't blame me either, right?" Jackson said with a sweet smile.
"Oh, sweetheart... just you wait until I tell your mum what happened."
Jackson's eyes widened. "Please don't tell her!" He begged.
"Maybe then you won't let these boys convince you to sneak out." She gave her children a glare.
"We didn't need to convince him. He wanted to - " Jackson cut Ron off by stepping on his foot. "Ow!"
"Shut up." Jackson hissed at him.
Ron huffed before turning to his mum. "They were starving him, Mum! There were bars on his window!" He tried to explain.
Mrs. Weasley pointed a finger at him. "Well, you'd best hope that I don't put bars on your window, Ronald Weasley!" She walked over to Harry. "Come on, Harry. Time for a spot of breakfast."
