I have Never laughed harder in my entire life!
My mom got up extra early this morning and tried out some homemade beauty treatments and relaxation techniques that she'd seen on social media
She was wearing an oatmeal face mask with cucumbers on her eyes and she had turned off the lights in the family room to mediate on the meaning of her life
That's what she said she was doing, although it looked like to me she was sitting in the chair sleeping
Anyway, dad walked in and turned on the light and totally freaked out
His scream was so loud and high pitched, I thought it was a little girl!
Then when mom woke up and heard dad screaming she totally panicked and grabbed hold of him
Which made him even more scared
I guess dad must have thought he was being attacked by some monster
Which does sounds ridiculous
I only wish I could have caught that moment on video
BTW I have a really bad feeling about Chloe, Jenny and me being on clean up crew
WHY? You ask
Because when I got to school, everyone was buzzing about the student council selecting Mackenzie to be the chairperson of our Halloween dance!
Just BULLSHIT!
Of course she made a fucking deal out of the whole thing
She actually wore a special outfit for the occasion and insisted that everyone addressed her as "Miss Chairperson"
God how annoying!
The first thing she did was call an emergency meeting during lunch
Thirty of us just say there in this huge audition listening to her make a ridiculous speech:
"I just wanted to congratulate my wonderful Halloween dance committee members and share with all of you my extraordinary vision for what will be the most spectacular event our school has ever experienced. In keeping with this goal, I am officially inviting each and every one of you to my very own birthday party. I proudly extend this opportunity in hopes that a few of you more um..... individuals might experience firsthand what a glamorous and exciting party is like"
Everyone just stood there in silence wondering if she was serious even giving her stares, with her not expecting the hostility
Mackenzie speech went on for another ten minutes and when she finally finished, the only ones clapping was CCPs well some even left during the middle
Mackenzie said the committees for set-up, entertainment, publicity, decorations, and food would meet daily starting tomorrow
But the clean up crew didn't need any meetings except for Jenny who was part of CCP who also clapped earlier well we all starred at dumbfounded
To be honest I didn't really mind as long as I didn't have to see her
Next she encouraged everyone to come up with creative Halloween costumes
She even showed off sketches suggesting we wear them
"Oh of course you don't have to Jenny, I have other sketches for you" she says playfully
Of course she acted all innocent like she helping bunch of stray cats
After that meeting was finally over, me and Chloe talked about it, well Jenny headed off to be with the CCP
But Chloe was excited about the possibility of going to the dance that she didn't care
Mackenzie meeting was a total and massive waste of time I never get back
