"They do know that this is just gonna make it worse right?" Sienna whispers with raised brows
"I mean, I guess. At least they're trying to help." Jamie shrugs
"They're just trying to cover their ass incase something happens to that kid. They don't actually care about Elliot."
Jamie turns to her with a look of confusion, "Elliot? Who's Elliot?"
"The kid over there by your true love." Sienna nods at Miguel's table
Jamie looks and sighs, "His name is Eli."
"Who cares? It still applies." Sienna says
"But today, our goal here is to make this school a safe space for all students." The teacher smiles. Sienna rolls her eyes as Jamie chuckles at her, "Oh and one last thing. While we're all looking forward to the Halloween dance, let's make sure our costumes are culturally sensitive. For example," The teacher continues, "instead of "sexy nurse" maybe try 'gender-neutral hospital employee'."
"Who gives a shit about any of this? No one is listening anyway." Sienna groans
"Sienna." Jamie sighs
"What? It's true." She exclaims

"We are absolutely going to the dance." Sienna says as they sit at Jamie's locker between classes.
"No, I'm not. I'm not gonna watch as guys just completely drool over you and fall at your feet. Watching you flirt is awkward." Jamie complains
"It's not awkward. Don't be jealous." Sienna laughs
"Not jealous." Jamie jokes
"You are." Jamie looks at Sienna and sighs as someone walks up behind her
"Hey." Miguel says
Jamie turns and instantly smiles, "Oh, hi, Miguel."
"Hi." Miguel says to Sienna. Sienna smiles as she turns to look at Jamie.
"What's going on?" Jamie asks
"Oh, nothing much. I actually wanted to ask you something." Miguel explains
"Yeah, sure." Jamie exclaims
"My karate dojo is looking for recruits." Miguel starts
"Karate?" Jamie repeats
"Yeah, uh, my sensei is super legit and I'm sure I could maybe get you a discount."
