"Okay." Miguel mumbles as he approaches Jamie's extra bag she had given to Sienna. He unzips it to put the card he made for her and catches sight of a brochure. He sets the card in the bag and takes the brochure. As he reads over it, he frowns, "Yosemite?"
He turns it over in his hands before picking the bag up and setting the brochure back inside. He closes it and sets it back in its place before turning around. His eyes immediately landing on Jamie who had been catching up with Sam and Tory.
As he gets closer, Jamie's eyes flicker over to him. His smiles softly as her eyes light up. She excuses herself before walking over, "Hey."
"Hi."
Jamie's face falls, "You okay?"
"Yeah. Um..." He mutters, "I was just- were you planning on seeing Yosemite?"
"Oh." She says, "Shit. Um, I actually wanted to talk to you about that."
"Okay."
"The day Brittany came to see me, she came to give me a graduation present and came to me with the idea of traveling before settling down for college. So, instead of driving down to Stanford when we were supposed to, I'm gonna start traveling instead. I just didn't wanna say anything until after."
"It's fine. We didn't promise we were gonna be in the same place after high school." He says, "Up until I got deferred it just, uh... seemed like it might end up that way."
"I know." She nods
"It sounds super cool." He says, "You definitely deserve a break. And you must be so pumped. I mean, I'm happy for you."
"I'm really happy. I think this will be good for me." She chuckles
"More than anything, I just want what's best for you." He says softly
"Ladies and gentlemen, please return to your seats."
"I wanna hear all about every place you're going, okay, right after I'm done kicking some ass."
Jamie nods with a wide smile before pulling him in and kissing him. Miguel wraps his arms tightly around her waist and lifts her slightly. As she pulls away, his lips chase her. She laughs pecking him once more before stepping back. The two then make their way over to Johnny.
"And now... our final match of this year's Sekai Taikai! Representing the Iron Dragons, Axel Kovačević! And representing Cobra Kai, Miguel Diaz."
"This is what it's all about." Johnny says, "Savor the moment. And knock his block off."
"Would the fighters please come to the mat." Gunther says. Axel and Miguel walk to the middle of the mat as the crowd cheers, "Good luck to both of you."
"Go, Miguel!" Johnny claps
"You got this, Miguel!" Jamie calls out
"Fighters, face me. Bow. Face each other. Bow. Fighting stances. Fight!"
