"Hey."
Jamie turns from her place on the bench. Sam stands a few feet away from her with her hands at her side. Jamie nods, "Hey."
"I just.. wanted to tell you that you're doing a really good job."
Jamie furrow her brows lightly, "Thanks?"
"I know it sounds like bullshit, but-"
"No, it just.." Jamie trails off, "You're just one of the last people I expected to hear that from."
Sam smiles softly before it falls again, "Jamie, I know our relationship hasn't been the smoothest thing in the entire world, but.. I am really sorry for everything."
"All that stuff was a long time ago, Sam."
"I know." Sam says before sitting beside her, "But as time goes on and I start to realize that we're going to be moving on and living our own lives, I don't want to leave any relationships that I could've fixed, broken."
Jamie looks over at her, "I thought we silently agreed that this wasn't gonna work out."
"Yeah, but I at least want to be okay." Sam shrugs, "I know it's not at all my place, but I know you might have other things going on."
"How do you know that?"
"Because in a way, I saw myself in you. With all the karate drama, I struggled with my own issues. You've had the same look on your face that I used to see every time I looked in the mirror." Sam says, "It might not be the same issues, but it's the same look."
Jamie looks down at her hands, "It's just family stuff. Nothing I won't get over."
Sam nods, "You don't have to tell me anything, but just know that even though Priscilla is giving you shit for being captain or even if you feel like you're not up for it.. I think you're doing amazing at it."
"Thank you, Sam." Jamie says looking over at her
"Of course." Sam smiles
"The next match between Cobra Kai and Tiger Strike will begin in 15 minutes."
Sam gives Jamie a small smile before standing and walking off. Jamie sighs before standing and following Sam toward their team.

"So we need to win this one to stay in the tournament." Daniel says as he looks around at the Miyagi-Do students, "We know it's hard with Silver here, but we are not fighting his team now."
"We've heard this garbage going around about loyalty." Johnny says, "Almost all of us trained somewhere else at some point. What matters is where our asses are now. We're Miyagi-Do. Got it?"
"Come on, y'all. Let's go!" Miguel yells as they all split apart. He looks over and takes a few steps before reaching and grabbing Jamie's hand, "Hey."
