As the dust settled around the dead Hydra agents, the Avengers took a breath at last only to notice the paparazzi coming in.

Prism put on the act and flew down go stand by her boyfriend, Captain America, who smiled as she approached, but she could see the irritated look in his eyes- one she shared in hers.

He immediately put his arm around her waist and she turned slightly into him so he could press a kiss to her forehead.

The crowd awed and camera flashes went off.

"Mr Stark, what was Hydra doing in New York?"

He began to deliver a reply as some of the other paparazzi swarmed the other two.

"...Another plan foiled by America's super Sweethearts - Captain America and Prism! Can we get a kiss?" a tabloid magazine writer asked.

"I'd be honored!" Cap smiled down at her, making her cheeks blush.

Priz got on her toes and leaned her chin up while he cupped her cheek gently to press their lips together.

She pointed her toe a bit behind her and posed all the way down like they'd rehearsed.

During his little speech, Tony looked over as the group cheered again, a few whistles here and there. He smirked and returned his attention to the reporters in front of him.

"Will you be attending the Avengers Ball next month?" Another reporter asked as they leaned away again, still holding each other.

"Any excuse to see my darling angel in a gown." He winked down at her.

"I'd pay to see her in nothing!" called a voice from the back.

"Hey! None of that talk!" Cap scolded the voice, coiling his arm tighter around her waist and pressing her torso into his side protectively.

"Besides, I get to see that for free after the party." He added, chuckling making her smile too, pinching his back to show her distaste at his joke.

Prism entered Tony's office, immediately frowning as she saw Steve already in there. He glared as she entered.

"What do they want this time?" she crossed her arms, already having an idea of where this was going.

"If this was a real relationship I'd be annoyed they're constantly in our business." Steve shared her sentiment.

"Business is the name of the game, here." Tony shrugged. "The people made an assumption and if we tell them they're wrong we risk them taking sides and one if you losing support. Too deep now anyway."

The "couple" sighed, she leaned on the arm of the couch Steve sat on.

"People Magazine wants to do a story on your relationship; your back story, falling in love, each others favorite blah blah blah."

"Ugh." "Come on!" they protested.

"You may not be together, but you are still team mates. You've got to know somethings about each other."

They both shook their heads. "I make it a point to think about her as little as possible."

"I avoid him like he's got the plague."

Tony rolled his eyes, "Well don't tell them that."

They glared at each other until Natasha came in smirking at the two. "You hate each others guts but you really do look good together, aesthetically."

They fixed their glares on her, making her laugh as she turned her attention to Tony. "Banner needs your help in the lab."

He nodded, "Right! So the interview is Tuesday at noon - they're coming here. You two better work out a good story, something mushy and romantic. As many details as you can keep straight." He started to follow Nat out, looking over his shoulder. "They're gonna want to do a photoshoot for the article, probably front page so wear your picture day clothes!" the door shut behind him as the couple starred, aghast.

"Shit." "Fuck." They said at the same time, heads snapping over to glare again.

"Language." She mocked.

"Fuck off, BonBon." He stood up and started to leave the room.

"Don't call me that!" she hissed, hair flashing pastels as her powers reacted to her anger.

Steve didn't turn around but smirked as he left the room.
