Chapter VII : Discussing A Mission

Nightmare knocked on the door to the living room. Inside of the room, Nacre laid on the sofa while reading a book. He seems to enjoy his time alone. The book he is reading, is the book of AUs. There are many AUs listed in that book. He's always interested in AUs and always wanted to go to one. Nightmare and Error had never let him out of this world, it seems. None of his friends had left this world as well. However..

Nacre looked at the doorway once Nightmare knocks on door. The door to the living room is wide open, as always. Nacre gets up from the sofa and closed the book, walking towards his father.

"Do you need something, Father?" He asked, standing in front of his father.

"Yes. I have a mission for you and your friends again. Call them here and meet me in my office." Nightmare said.

"Oh? What kind of mission this time?" Nacre asked.

"I'll let you know once you get your friends. Alright?" Nightmare said.

Nacre nod his head, "Okay. I'll go get the others."

Nightmare smiled softly, nodding his head before walking away from the living room.

Nacre doesn't feel like going to each of his friends' houses. He walked through the hallways and soon reaching the front doors of the castle. He opened the doors widely and the afternoon wind brush his bones. The leaves danced in the air. Nacre walked towards the front stairs and sat on one of it, taking out his phone and messaged his friends in the group chat. He immediately texted in the group chat, telling his friends to come over to the castle as there is another mission that they all need to do. Malice replied first with 'be right there' and all of the sudden, Malice is right in front of Nacre.

Nacre looks up at him from the phone. Right, Malice can teleport. However the Horsts don't seem like they could teleport right away.

"Yo."

Malice greeted, sitting on one of the stairs next to Nacre. Nacre smiled at him as the response. He looks back on his phone, seeing Horrid replying, however it seems Hostile couldn't come to this mission. He's not feeling well. But Horrid and Diaval will be there in a few minutes. Did Hostile got sick?

"What kind of mission this time?"

Malice asked. Nacre turns off his phone and put it back inside his pants' pocket, looking at Malice while slightly shaking his head.

"Father won't tell me anything unless all of us gathered in the throne room." Nacre said and Malice nods at him.

After waiting a few minutes, Horrid and Diaval finally shows up, while bickering with each other as always. Once they shows up, they didn't waste any more time as they walked inside the castle and went straight to the throne room.

"Is Hostile okay?"

Malice asked, breaking the silence. Horrid sighed, putting his hand inside his pants' pockets,

"He's alright but not really feeling up to do anything at all so he wanted to stay at home."

Nacre looked at him, "So he's not sick then? That's a relief."

Horrid nods, "Yeah. But will the King be okay we're short on people?"

"Of course he'll be okay with it. He'll probably ask Mal's father to go with us as always to fill in for Hostile." Nacre said.

"Well, father has always been there with us as a guide. No matter if we're short on people or not." Malice said.

"Indeed."

And they arrived at the throne room. Nacre opened the doors widely, then walking in with his friends. Nightmare has been sitting on the throne while waiting for them. Next to him is Error, they seem to be talking about something but stopped once the kids entered the room. Their eyes focused on them. The kids stopped walking once they're close enough with the King and.. Queen? His husband.
