Chapter XI : Broken Horn

Error has been looking for Nacre everywhere, all around the kingdom but until now he haven't found him yet. He had looked for him at the Whispering Woods, one of Nacre's favorite place but he wasn't there either. Before he went out of the castle to look for Nacre, he had ordered the guards to look for him as well and the guards have also been scattered to look for him but still have no clue where Nacre is.

Nightmare, right after he formed from just goops on the floor after being attacked to his usual form, had called Dream, in case if he ran off to his city. Dream said he'll help looking for Nacre in case he's around his region but until now, he hasn't got any more calls from Dream to inform him about Nacre.

Nightmare should be able to feel and detect where Nacre is through his negative aura, but somehow.. he doesn't feel him. He's been sitting on the throne, focusing on looking for Nacre through his negative aura. He sensed him, but after a second it's gone again, and that keeps repeating.

It's starting to get worrying.

The sun is already setting, Error is on his way back to the castle, still haven't found Nacre anywhere. Where did he ran off to? Surely he's not outside of this world since he can't do portal magic.. Unless Hex is still taking control of his body. Hex seemed to be able to open portals.

Error opened the front door and walked inside the castle, sighing. There are some guards in front of him but he hasn't noticed them,

"Sir Error."

Error looked at the bear guard after he called him, he crossed his arms.

"How was the search, did you find my son?" Error asked.

"We haven't found him, unfortunately. We have looked everywhere around the kingdom, outside of the kingdom as well, but still no sign of the Prince." Said the bear guard.

Error sighed, "I see. Keep looking for him tomorrow, tell the other guards to continue to looking for him tomorrow."

"Yes, sir."

The bear guard with two other guards bows at him first before leaving the castle. Error walked towards the throne room, to look for Nightmare, but when he got to the throne room, he's not there. Maybe he's in his office on the second floor?

Error decided to just teleport right in front of Nightmare's office, he was too lazy to walk after looking for Nacre all day. He opened the door without knocking first but Nightmare is also not in the office. The office is empty.

"Ugh, now where are you Nightmare." Error murmured in annoyance. He closed the door and teleported to the third floor, and not far from where he stood, he saw Nightmare standing in front of Nacre's room.

...could it be that Nacre is inside of his room all this time?

Error approached Nightmare and he immediately noticed his presence. Nightmare looked at Error. Error stopped once he's close enough with Nightmare as he looked at Nacre's bedroom door.

"Is he in there?" Error asked.

Nightmare looked back at the door,

"...Yes. His negative aura is very strong in his room." He said.

Error sighed in relief, he walked closer to the door and reached the door knob. He tried opening it but it was locked. Error looked at Nightmare to tell him why is the door locked,

"I tried talking to him and asking him to open the door but he's not answering to anything I said." Nightmare said, looking concerned as he crossed his arms.

Error knocked at the door,

"Nacre?"

There was no response. Error knocked once again,
