a lot had happened in the last year for noa james, for starters she had broken up with her boyfriend conrad fisher who she thought would be the love of her life, boy was she wrong. but noa had decided she wasn't going let some dumb boy hold her back, she was living her life like no one had expected, the james girl kept up her popularity being the light of many people's lives at college, except now she wasn't noa, she was known as elenoa, well atleast to those who didn't know her very well  and she was also a party girl. noa finally felt free, conquering her fear of drinking at parties without anyone there to watch over her. she certainly wasn't a fish out of water at stanford.

and one of those parties was exactly how noa had ended up in her current position, sneaking out of some frat boy's bedroom after a drunk hookup. The James girl couldn't wipe the smile from her face as walked out of the house with her heels in clutch wearing some oversized t shirt she snatched on her way out, last night was noa's first successful hookup post conrad and she couldn't have been prouder of herself, noa was very aware of belly and conrad's short lived relationship through the gossip of her younger sister which meant he had moved on and she finally felt like she had. of course the girl had her fair share of makeouts and maybe a few below the belt touches here and there but she had never been able to go all the way like she had last night.

the same smile couldn't be shaken from the girls face as she entered her dorm to find her roomate cadence doing her makeup as her younger sister poppy who was visiting for a few days finished up her hair for the day.

"with a smile like that i'd think you just had the best sex of your life" cadence chuckled

"oh stop it" noa rolled her eyes at the girls words,

"oh she totally did look at her!" poppy jumped up in excitement

"okay, i wouldn't say it was the best sex of my life but i definitely ddi pretty well for being rusty" noa laughed

"i'm so proud of you E, i love that you're forgetting this conbad guy, he sounds like he sucks" cadence smiled at the james girl

"he totally sucks" 

"poppy" noa tried to hush her sister 

"but seriously he does suck, like he wasn't even good enough for you to be friends with" poppy continued to talk, "like when did you last talk to him"

"exactly and you wouldn't have gone to it had you not called him when she died, i thought we put old people pleaser noa away and we had hot elenoa who doesn't care about anyone other than herself" poppy smiled as she finished

"i wasn't being a people pleaser by calling him to give my condolences" noa tried to speak

"but you were definitely people pleasing when you crawled right back to him and looked after him at that funeral" cadence was now joining in

"guys, his mom had just died, of course i was going to look after him" noa rolled her eyes at the girls words

"well it seemed like your presence caused more harm than good" poppy chuckled
