the teens couldn't believe it, was julia really this evil?

"you knew about this didn't you? that's why julia sent us all off to the pier as a distraction!" conrad yelled pointing a finger at skye.

"i swear i didn't know anything" skye explained

"fuck" conrad breathed out before storming off, noa followed him, belly tried to as well before poppy stopped her,

"she's got it conklin" the girl's words causing belly to roll her eyes

"whatever" she sighed

noa practically chased conrad out of the house, the boy moving faster than she had ever seen

"jesus con slow down" she grabbed the boy

"i have to go sort this out" conrad sighed

"connie, it's like 9pm you won't be able to sort shit out right now, just talk to me" noa grabbed the boys hands, interlocking their fingers

"it's all my fault no" conrad stuttered out

"you mean this shit show?" the boy nodded, "none of this is your fault, you came to the pier because of me, you needed to get out this house and have a break, so it's not even close to being your fault, it's julia's."

"thank you" was all the boy could say

"of course" noa said as she wrapped her arms around the boy bringing him into a hug. as he felt noa's arms circle him conrad couldn't help but exhale, letting all the grief and stress leave him, she was always so good for him.

"hey guys sorry to interrupt but we have somewhere to stay tonight" steven exited the house

"oh where?" noa asked

"the country club, jere can get us in" steven answered

"okay well we better get going then"noa smiled before taking conrad's hand again.
