"what?" conrad asked, "it's sold? you sold this house in the last 12 hours?"

"yes to a lovely family with three children and some poodle mix" julia nodded

"well it can't just be over" jeremiah shook his head

"it is" julia confirmed, "uh, i'm gonna need your keys, please"

"i'll bet you're really enjoying this" conrad rolled his eyes as he removed his house key from his keychain.

"mom, don't do this" skye tried to intervene

"skye, really?" julia sighed, "i told you two that i was selling the house you just refused to believe it. and i'm not enjoying it but i will admit that i'm relieved it's finally over"

"now come on skye." julia spoke as she walked through the teens.

"mom!" skye called as they followed their mother.

"con come on lets head inside" noa grabbed the boys hand

"yeah okay" conrad sighed interlocking their hands as noa led them inside

belly couldn't help but glare daggers at the pair, how had she finally got conrad and she lost him already?

"okay. so, i know things aren't great right now but it's always the darkest before the dawn" jeremiah tried to lighten up the group.
