36 : stranger sunghoon

Eunju frustratedly groaned when she finally found Hyejin. She is not surprise when she saw her in Jaeyun's embrace but what makes her a little bit mad is Hyejin didn't inform her where she goes.

She finds her like crazy, went to the toilet multiple times just in case Hyejin will appear. When she already gave up she saw Hyejin in Jaeyun embrace, giggling and flirting to each other.

Eunju looks around and no one could impress her here. She took her handbag and decided to leave but she stopped when some customers said it's raining outside. She let out a sigh and took a seat because she could feels the alcohol already kick in.

Suddenly, someone sat next to her while handing a can of coke. Eunju spares a glance to the vampire-looking-guy. He wore a very simple outfit, a blue shirt with grey slack. Simple and handsome.

“What is it?” she asked while her eyes staring at the coke and the stranger just laughed. “A coke, you never heard of it? I'm pretty sure people here call it with the same name.”

Let's say, he gained her attention a little.

“Are you foreigner?” she asked again and he nodded, still holding the coke with a soft smile. “Why did you ask about it? Am I that good-looking, huh?”

The stranger fixed his hair with a satisfied smile on his face. Of course he knew he is handsome but he just wanted to play around. In his sight, Eunju looks like a good person to become friends or perhaps, more?

He noticed how lonely Eunju sitting at the table with her colleagues. She didn't say anything and only laugh when she thinks the topic is funny. When he saw Jaeyun came back with Eunju's friend, which is Hyejin he isn't surprised anymore.

He knew since the beginning about Jaeyun's feeling and always rooting for him. But he never know about Hyejin's beautiful and attractive friend. Since he already got rejected and his so-called fiancee cheated on him so why not give a shot?

“I'm sorry, what—” she stopped there.

“Hi, Sorry! My name is Sunghoon, nice to meet you!” he offered his hand for a handshake.

What the fuck?

Eunju didn't accept the offer but she took the coke instead. Sunghoon, awkwardly tilted his head because he realised that the girl next to him is annoyed. It's not his fault if Eunju didn't have the same humor as him.

Gulped down the coke, Eunju groaned once again with the coke gas. Sunghoon who sat next to her also laughed looking at her face. He took out a handkerchief and handed it to Eunju.

Just in case, you know?

“Are you laugh at me?”

“Looking at your silliness? Of course I have to laugh, Ms Sorry. Here, take this handkerchief and wipe your face.” he said as he put the handkerchief on her lap.

“Whatever, thank you.” she took the handkerchief and wipes her face. “By the way, my name is Eunju, Park Eunju not Ms Sorry you stupid!”

The silence hit them once again. Sunghoon already finished his drink so he don't know what he should do. He looks at Eunju who looking at the rain that seems will never stop until tomorrow's dawn.

And of course, he doesn't want to stay at this bar with this exhausted body. He needs to rest but he doesn't know any right place to stay tonight. Sunghoon coughed to catch Eunju's attention but he failed.

This girl is deaf.

Or she just act like one.

“Hey, Eunju.”

“What? Stop spitting bullshit.”

Sunghoon scoffed, “do you, perhaps, know any place for me to stay for the night? Because I need to do something tomorrow.”

Eunju looks at her side and then her eyes met with Sunghoon's. Of course Eunju knows any place to stay but it's quite far from the bar and if Sunghoon finds the place, he just wasting his time.

“I know some place but it's far from here. I don't recommend it because you're a foreigner and you might get lost.” she said softly because her head started to get dizzy, maybe the side effects of the beer.

“Then, where should I stay for the night? Your apartment, hmm?” he asked jokingly but surprisingly Eunju nodded her head.

Sunghoon's eyes got widen when Eunju stood up a little bit tipsy. He quickly stood up and supported her body from fell onto the ground. Eunju chuckled when she felt a warm sensation around her waist.

“You do care for stranger, huh?” she said with her sheepish smile.

“Alright, whatever. Show me your car, let me send you—” Sunghoon said but Eunju put her index finger right on his reddish lips and Sunghoon was trembled a little bit.

Oh, God.

Stop me now.

“What a nice move of you, Sunghoon. But I can walk.” she said but her body told him the otherwise. She almost collapsed if Sunghoon didn't catch her body.

“You started to feel drunk, aren't you? Show me your car and let me drive you home.” Eunju rolled her eyes but still show him the direction to her car.

How about Hyejin?

She has Jaeyun.

She'll be fine.

“Ok, Stranger Sunghoon, drive me home!”
